I'm a 1L so I need luck for different reasons but thanks lol. And yes you'll be more than fine

Well in that case I hope you're happy with where you ended up, and good luck with 1L!

I posed awhile ago in this thread but a few things have changed so I'm hoping to get someone's opinion. I have a 3.85 CGPA, 3.83 L2 and 3.87 B2 (I'm not sure if the consistency helps or even means anything?) I also took 4 classes in the first semester of my third year and am taking 4 classes again this semester (The first of my 4th year) Every other semester I've taken the full 5 class course load. I have a 159 LSAT from the first time I wrote it and a 161 from the second time.

I applied to Ottawa, Toronto, Western, Queens, Osgoode and McGill.

LSAT: 163

cGPA: 3.57

L2/B2: 3.69

Good work experience, no ECs really.

Was PTing at a 167 average weeks before test, so not sure if a rewrite is recommended.

Hoping for Ottawa, Western, Queens, York. Thanks!

LSAT: 152 (had a terrible test...usually score between 158-161 on practice, going to rewrite in December, pretty upset about score)

cGPA: 3.3/4.3

L2/B2: 3.8/4.3

Good ECs, reference letter

Applying to Western, Queen's, Dal, Calgary, Alberta, TRU, Sask, Victoria (just because Im from there, not expecting to get in)

Please give me some advice

Definitely rewrite.

In terms of Ontario schools: I think a 3.8/4.3 is roughly 3.5/4.0. Your cGPA is really low but your L2 gives you a chance if you do way better on the LSAT. The problem is you have to do markedly better (I'm thinking a 165 if you want to be safe). It's definitely been done, though, so do everything you can to figure out what you did poorly and work on that. Get the prep books too.

Hello hello,

cGPA: 2.95

L2/B2: 3.625

LSAT: writing in Dec and Feb (prep testing at 160-161)

Extracurricular: 3 year involvement on 3 different communities at University and outside, and good work experience from father's business.

Refs: 2 Good Reference Letters

Additional: Applying in Access Category because of Learning Disability and difficult domestic circumstances.

Applying to all 7 schools in Ontario.

Dream School: Osgoode and Western.

Thank you and good luck to everyone.

If someone could evaluate or make a prediction on these stats, I would appreciate it tremendously... please don't forget about... me... *kitty eyes*

I don't think anyone here can comment on an access application. Decisions are usually made on an entirely holistic basis. Either way, no one can say for certain without the LSAT (speculating on a score is meaningless).

Looking to figure out how much luck I should be praying for at the bottom of my shot glass

...off to the books!

I understand how you feel. Best thing to do is to shoot for the best score you can achieve. You should manage your expectations only after you've studied, taken the exam, and determined that you will apply with a particular score. Until then, there's no point in worrying over your chances.
