Waitlisted 2021

Ryn

As we have done in previous cycles, we ask that you keep Waitlist threads clear of extraneous discussion.

Please list your CGPA, L2, B3, index score, etc.,  LSAT score, and how you were notified.  Please keep questions to asking about these particular details if they are not found in the post itself. Other posts will be deleted so as to keep these threads useful and easy to navigate.

Waitlisted this morning for the second year in a row lol. Feels good. 158 LSAT, 3.8 GPA, extensive ECs centred around social justice and advocacy work as well as extensive research experience.

Oh well!

sorry to hear that. Finger's crossed you are in off the waitlist this year!

Do you mind sharing when your application was complete?

I applied super early. Complete by Nov. 1st! And its alright, I got into grad school so I'm seriously considering that if things don't turn out the way I'm hoping :)

Does the fact they're wait listing people imply there's no spots left at the moment?

My friend just wrote her LSAT in January and received an offer second week of February so they're definitely still accepting

Omg! Same here! Waitlisted the second year in a row lol. Guess its just you and I on here 😅😅

CGPA-3.3~

L2: 3.2

LSAT:166

I dont have any EC because I've been working as a construction subcontractor for the entire 6 years I've been in school to help my parents.

I finished my application in October, but my application wasn't reviewed until second week of Feb becsuse of my January LSAT

Some people have been waitlisted and haven't posted in this thread, but have made comments about getting waitlisted with their stats in other threads lol. Best of luck getting off the waitlist!

Waitlisted today.

CGPA - roughly 3.2

L2- 3.35

LSAT - 164

Decent ECs, and fairly strong personal statement in my opinion.

Application completed early October, May 2020 LSAT and completed my undergrad in 2017.

Was 3.6 your L2 or cGPA?

sorry to hear that you have amazing stats. Do you mind sharing your EC's/ how strong you felt your PS was?

Got the email today.

LSAT: 165

L2: Somewhat difficult to determine (Engineering background, so all my credits are hard to determine). Probably a 3.1 though or 3.4, depending on how they look at it.

EC's: Student group invovlement almost every year of university, alot of part time work, some volunteering. My LOI talked about my interest in criminal law.

Better than a rejection at least!

Wow, this makes me wonder how holistic they really are. Hope you get accepted somewhere else!

Waitlisted. 168 LSAT , 3.5CGPA, ~3.7L2

I would assume my EC's are weak compared to some people as I only had a club sport , serving job and 2 school clubs.

Personal statement felt good. Also a former UCalgary student if that counts for anything.

I imagine OP has accepted an offer from another school? Otherwise yes, yield protection, or a strangely obscene PS (which I doubt).

Regardless, with stats like that I'd logout, grab a drink and wait for my suitors - er, schools. I meant schools.

Haha, I have received offers to two other schools, one with a scholarship.

I felt my ECs were strong, I have 4 years experience working in a law firm and one year management experience. I also am the President of two clubs.

I think my personal statement was average, and I am still finishing my final year of my degree.

I’ve just responded to this in another post!

I think I had strong ECs, and an average PS.

Several posts (13!) have been deleted. It should be fairly obvious to anyone who pays a bit of attention that the Accepted, Rejected, and Waitlist threads are for posts on those topics only.

And, no, people cannot post "where and as they please."  Thank you to those who reported it.

Come on, people.
