Ryerson Law school interview

Recommended Posts

Hello

Can anyone tell me how the interview process is for law school Ryerson? When I am done with my practice questions, does the interview start automatically, or can I pick a time and date? I am worried if I start the practice test now, and a real interview will start automatically.
Can anyone suggest how it really works 🙃
Thank you

You can practice but there's no obligation to do the real thing right after. You can do the practice now and the real thing whenever and you don't have to schedule anything. The practice is good to give you an idea of what to expect, treat it like you would any other interview.

I was worried about the same things. I just did my interview. The practice doesn't automatically lead to the actual interview. You can practice as many times as you would like before going to the interview. Just note that the practice gives you more prep time than the actual thing. I believe 1 min vs 30 seconds. Good luck!

    • I am still waiting for mine to update as well!
    • If you turn "aiming" into actual grades and LSAT score then yes, I absolutely think you should apply. Hell, you should apply even with a lower LSAT. You have a decent B2 and adding a decent LSAT (I'd say 160+) would give you a shot at a handful of schools, even if not a great shot.
    • Maybe try searching for Class profiles of each of the law schools you’re interested in.    I think you can track down some Info from the past years that includes GPA and LSAT scores, as well as a lot of other data.    Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, but hope it helps
    • Definitely but it also depends on when references and transcripts arrived which may also have been delayed by Canada Post (depends how your uni and referees submitted their reference). They have your application and your fee so I'm sure they have your file, but just working through the mountain of work. Plus, due to COVID-19, they likely do not have easy access to their offices/mail this year and working remotely slows everything down. Patience is key, don't read into others' application dates.
    • There are thousands of applications to sort through and only so many people on the admissions team. Factor in covid-19 and remote working and most admissions offices are incredibly backed up right now. I'm sure you'll hear back in due time, offers have just barely started rolling out! 🙂
