Do I have a chance with - LSAT 165, CGPA: 3.57, B3: 3.70, L2: 3.80

Recommended Posts

I would appreciate any thoughts you guys had on which schools you realistically think I could get into. I don't have an intense desire to absolutely study in Ontario, and would be very open to schools in other regions. My stats are:

  • LSAT: 165
  • CGPA: 3.56
  • B3: 3.70
  • L2: 3.8

What schools do you think I could get into? Is UBC even worth me applying for?

Not sure what drops are? I never dropped any classes in college if that's what you mean.

Some law schools drop certain number of courses from the gpa calculation based on their own individual policies(check their websites and FAQ sections to find out more). Based on your stats (I'm assuming without drops) you have a great shot at most schools in Canada so I'd say apply broadly to those that interests you!

For UBC you could get a better gauge of your chances if you converted your GPA into % form. There's an index calculator that's stickied on the UBC forum - as far as I know it does a pretty good job at predicting your chances.

Overall your stats are great. It's definitely worth applying there.
