Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has checked their portal today and noticed that the status says Completed. Does that show for anyone? My letter can no longer be found.

Mine is showing the same thing. Someone mentioned in another thread that they may be doing maintenance.

Yep! I’m in the same boat, application now says “Completed” again and I can’t access my waitlist letter any more.

I spoke with the admissions office this morning in regards to the issue with accessing the 'Decisions History' tab and my waitlist letter no longer appearing, the same issue many others have been experiencing on this forum. I thought I would share what I found out here in case anyone found the information to be useful.

The USask Admissions team said, "We are checking into a glitch in the system, which is preventing you from viewing your status and decision letter. Our IT department is working on this and it should be remedied shortly. There is no change to your status, and you are still on the ranked waitlist."

I had gotten in off of the waitlist a couple cycles ago. I had received my offer in the last couple days of August. I think there is generally  a lot of movement that happens in the last week or so of August and the first week of September.

Does anyone know is sask sends an email stating that the class is full?

I believe they do notify candidates either way. The waitlist letter mentions that they will contact those waitlisted by email if they are able to offer a seat, or if the class is full.

    • Most law schools don't include grades from a second undergrad or a Master's in their GPA calculation. At best, they go towards "soft" factors. I believe UofA and UofM are the exception, though you should double-check that.
    • Sorry, just seeing this now. It took less than a month for me, and was very simple. Expensive though, so bear that in mind.
    • Are there any rules around coordinating with robes though? Because if so, my sports-themed masks are going to be a problem 😉   Side note, we are going to look like executioners. The bat wing robes, the mask... heh.
    • Thank you for being honest!    I was debating if I should do Masters and then apply to law schools or maybe do a second bachelor and use those marks.
    • Western's website also says this, so I am confused. "This means that if you did not take 5 courses per semester in your last 4 semesters of university, your “Last 2” may include academic terms that precede your third year of study (depending on your timeline and whether you were full- or part-time).  If you apply to law school in your final year of university, we are likely to include your Fall term in the calculation of your “Last 2” years OR we may defer our final decision until your winter term grades arrive and include your entire fourth year in the “Last 2” calculation.  This is a decision we make based on the strength of your academic record as a whole."
