Accepted (TRU) 2020

erinl2

As we did last cycle, please keep the Admitted threads clear of extraneous discussion. They will remain more valuable and easier to navigate.

A reminder that Accepted threads are for posting your stats only and for asking brief questions related to the stats someone posts, e.g., asking for L2. These threads are not the place for further discussion, which should be asked via PM or in a new thread. OT posts will be deleted. Thank you!

Hi everyone! Received my acceptance by email on the 13th (took me a while to decide to stop lurking and create an account lol). Good chance I accept unless I get Queen's or Western.

Regular category

LSAT: 163

OLSAS GPA: 2.94

L2: 3.3

Mediocre softs with a year of contracts work at a non-legal firm and a bit of volunteer experience from early undergrad.

Presumably a strong personal statement as I wasn't expecting to get any acceptances until the summer with my grades.

Hope this gives some hope to those without strong grades!

Hi! I was accepted yesterday!
Lsat first 151, 159
GPA 3.9,

I actually don’t know what my L2 is or what that stands for! Sorry 😐

I was also offered the entrance scholarship,

But I’m waiting to hear from other schools before accepting!

L2 is shortened from L20, which means the GPA calculated by the last twenty courses on your undergraduate transcript. TRU uses your L20 for calculating GPA, not your cumulative.

Just received an email!

LSAT: 156

L2: 4.19/4.33

I applied for early consideration as a regular applicant. Not sure if I'll be accepting.

Best of luck to everyone else!

I have nearly identical LSAT and L20 GPA stats, and in the same situation with work and volunteer experience. Maybe/hopefully I’ll get an email today as well 😬😬😬
