Accepted U of T 2020

As we did last cycle, please keep the Admitted threads clear of extraneous discussion. They will remain more valuable and easier to navigate.

A reminder that Accepted threads are for posting your stats only and for asking brief questions related to the stats someone posts, e.g., asking for L2. These threads are not the place for further discussion, which should be asked via PM or in a new thread. OT posts will be deleted. Thank you!

Congrats everyone!

For the benefits of those waiting, could you guys (and future posters) confirm the first letter of your last name?

That'd be really helpful! Thanks!

Apologies if this has been asked and answered but what is the relevance of alphabetizing?

There is none. I don't know why people think that there is.

Just as shocked as the rest of you will be, but...

Got the call at 2:45 MST.

OLSAS GPA: 3.40

B3 (self-calculated): 3.57

LSAT: 164

Again, shocked. Non-traditional background for law and a few years experience working in student conduct, but I definitely did not expect to hear anything back from Toronto.

Just thought they might go with alphabetical order when they do the calls... Just some sense of control for people waiting (my last name starts with an S).

Just accepted:

LSAT: 17X

OLSAS cGPA: 3.8X (no B3)

Got the email at 8!

OLSAS GPA 3.7 LSAT 166

really shocked because I know stats are not super high, was expecting a long wait honestly. I guess they liked my essays. I spent a long time on them. For those out there with lower numbers there is hope!!!

Got the call a couple of hours ago.

CGPA: 3.66

LSAT: 165

B3: IDK but my rough estimation is 3.75

It's hard to describe what I'm feeling right now. It's a mix of pure happiness and total surprise. I thought maybe I would have a chance in the later rounds, but definitely not December!

Got the call this morning! Honestly so happy – wasn’t expecting to hear back in the first round at all.

LSAT: 167

OLSAS CGPA: 3.65

B3: 3.75

I have some pretty solid softs (federal policy work, lots of extracurriculars including executive work on my former student union) and am currently finishing my Master’s degree. I think my PS was fine but nothing special.
