Chances 2020?

Recommended Posts

L2 4.05/4.33, strong references (I believe) unique personal experience and legal work experience, volunteer work, but a 153 LSAT score.

I think you still have a good chance. I've seen lower LSAT scores than that get accepted, especially with that high of a GPA. Your references/work experience/personal statement will probably be the deciding factor. An uninteresting person with a 4.05/153 might not get in, but an interesting person with those scores probably would.

Your GPA is good and I have seen people admitted with similar or worse LSAT scores. I would personally re-write the LSAT and score around 160 for nearly guaranteed admission to a lot of schools.

Thank you for your reply. Currently I have an 8 month old baby at home who still doesn’t sleep through the night (I thought they would have been sleeping by the time I wrote the LSAT) , so I don’t think I could score that much better by November or January. I would rewrite next year though if I am not admitted with my 153 this upcoming year. Fingers crossed.
