A reminder that Accepted threads are for posting your stats only and for asking brief questions related to the stats that someone posts, e.g., asking for L2. These threads are not a place for further discussion, which should be asked via PM or in a new thread. Off-topic posts will be deleted. Thank you!

Another reminder to read the red banner at the top of the page. I have had to delete several posts.

Last year's Ottawa thread got totally out of hand and is the reason for the notification that this will not happen again this cycle. Please help to keep the Accepted thread useful to future applicants. Thank you.

Accepted December 7th. I read that UOttawa students in general are older so I was a bit insecure that my application would not stack up but I'm glad this was not the case.

OLSAS cGPA: 3.81

LSAT 157 (I wrote the LSAT twice but my initial score of 157 was enough to be admitted).

Background: I personally think my work experience and ECs are unique and strong  (Data science / statistics) but it's subjective.

    • Actually, if you click "submit" and move over to the next page it states that the accepted types of files are doc, docx, and pdf. I handed mine in in PDF, word documents sometimes change in format when opened in different versions so just in case!
    • I wouldn’t stake my life on my drops math but I think I have a 4.1 or 4.2 once my worst classes are gone, 4.0 flat without drops. Applied Sept 4th. What do y’all think the odds are?
    • You should probably calculate your GPA using the OLSAS table. https://www.ouac.on.ca/guide/olsas-conversion-table/  UBC should be using column 7
    • Hello, I would appreciate anybody's input on my situation. I have a B3 GPA of 83.8% from UBC Political Science. (3 B+s, 2Bs, and the rest are A-, A, and A+s) and I recently got a 168 on the November LSAT.  I'm worried that my LSAT score will be just average for U of T given that this year is supposed to be more competitive, while I've heard many anecdotes of OLSAS really hurting people's GPA from places like UBC. What do you guys think my chances are of getting in with the 83.8% / 168? (If it counts for anything, I played on a varsity sports team in first year and my other softs are not bad but not out of this world.) Should I re-take the test in January in hopes of a 170+?  Thank you so much for your time, much appreciated.
