Accepted yesterday! (June 14) Got an email about OSAP first, saw it on my uOzone account, and then got an email to check my uOzone account lol.

cGPA: 3.53

L2 and B2: ~3.7

LSAT: 152, 147

Originally in the Access category, I called a few weeks ago to check my status and they told me that I had been moved to General.

Congrats! This at least shows us that there may still be some acceptances left. What date did they give you to respond by?

Thank you! July 5. I firmly accepted when it appeared on my OLSAS account (2 days after it appeared on my uOzone account).

I heard that people last year got in sometime in July. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

BA at UofT- 3.3

MA at UofO - 4.0 -> my thesis and work was law related

Great references

IMO really unique personal statement but not tailored

Oh and I also tanked the LSAT with a 154

There's hope I guess! best of luck to you!

Accepted this afternoon! Saw ‘Admitted’ via uoZone, but I have not received an email yet. However, I can download my letter of acceptance from uoZone. I have also received an email about OSAP application from uOttawa. Deadline to accept this offer is July 9th.

I have applied under Access Category. Stats are: 3.78 CGPA, 3.84 L2, 157 LSAT (an accommodated score), MA in History (A- average), currently doing combined Master programs of archival studies and museum studies (3.58 in accordance with the OLSAS scale), and very social justice-oriented ECs, i.e. volunteer at LGBTQ archives and participation in labour movements.

Although I have been provisionally accepted to Windsor law and I am really fond of the law school, I think that uOttawa law will be better for my interest as I wish to engage in legal issues in cultural institutions such as archives and museums. Ottawa has Library and Archives Canada and tons of museums!

I will accept this offer from uOttawa law. I have been currently wait listed at Osgoode and Western law, but I do not think that I would have any chances of getting in there.

It seems to me that uOttawa law will be my final destination; I am so so happy with the acceptance to this great law school!

    • Received acceptance email yesterday but will be declining.   CGPA:  3.51 LSAT:  161
    • References to R score is a Quebec thing, not necessarily a Francophone thing. We do Cegep. It's normal for a university to market itself to the local norms.  While McGill does accept people with lower LSATs (i knew of a guy who was accepted with 154, though he had a 4.0 in undergrad and ma and publications and cool work experience), McGill also advertises their average LSAT. Your whole package is taken into consideration.  Not sure what is "risk-taking" by discussing the possibility of applying. Your application, however, is below average for both GPA and LSAT. It certainly isn't impossible but I do agree with Pzabby that you should temper expectations and work on fleshing out your application more.
    • Hm I’m thinking of going as well. I’d have to skip a class but it might be worthwhile to meet some of the people I might be in it with for 3 years! I already toured the campus with a current student (who was great) but I’m sure this event will have some value with its new student focus.
    • Got the email today! Applied on Feb 8. Still waiting on other offers, but I have until March 20 to accept. Was accepted off the waitlist late last summer, but declined.  BC resident.  GPA 3.95/4.00 LSAT 151, 156
    • Got the email on Feb 18, will be declining for another offer. Individual consideration category (mature student), BC resident GPA: 3.95/4.00 LSAT: 151, 156
