Hey guys,

Do you think it means anything that my status still is "under evaluation" and was last updated on January 04/18?

Thanks.

All of us who wrote the December LSAT have that listed as our last update. It just means they received your LSAT score that date. Trust us, we're all dying for some sort of update.

I wrote the December LSAT and don't have that as my date, mine still says November. This is concerning.

EDIT: Is your comment speculation or you know it to be factual? If it's the latter I'm calling adcom tomorrow lol.

I have the same thing but also wrote the Feb (last update jan 18 2018), that means they STILL  didn't process the Feb scores? That would be almost impossible, then they are tremendously behind

Correct me if I am misunderstanding but you also wrote the dec LSAT and your file doesn't have a 2018 update too? Or yours was updated in January for your December LSAT but not after your February LSAT? I'm just trying to gauge if my situation merits an adcom call.

Well, I took both the December and February LSATs and my file has been under evaluation since Nov. 20th.... Should I be worried?

@SlickRick

I would Def. Call the school tomorrow if i was in your situation, because my file does show me my December lsat score when I wrote it at u of t, it says my file was last updated jan. 18 2018, presumably to add the lsat score and it shows lsat u of t with a checkmark

Now I never gave the file update date much thought , but if it means they STILL have not processed Feb scored and in some cases still havnt processed DECEMBER scores the office is terribly behind in their paperwork

Or perhaps it' just some.computer error or technicality but they have updated our files accordingly, but def. Something to ask them directly

Mine says November 20th, too. I wrote the December LSAT but not the February.

Thanks for the insight - I'll likely give them a call tomorrow.

EDIT: Actually, wait, your file shows what your score is?

On the OLSAS application, not in UOZONE. Also, they are behind on paperwork and administration, it was discussed in the accepted 2018 thread.

Sorry for the double reply, didn't see your question from before. No, it is not speculation. I would call them tomorrow to be safe.

Good, I figured Timmies was talking about OLSAS not on the Ottawa portal but hey, my file apparently is behind on updates so who knows what else could be wrong with it. And no need for apologies, friendo. I am appreciative of your advise, I saw in the Accepted thread that they were behind but I didn't conceive of them being this far behind. But if everyone else who wrote Dec LSAT has been updated in January then I get the privilege of being the anomaly. *sigh*

I am in the same boat, I wrote the December LSAT and my uozone still says November as last update. I contacted Uottawa in January about it and they confirmed they had received my December LSAT, and not to worry about the update date listed on uozone.

Yup just called them too. They said they had the scores in their files but that they don't necessarily update the date on uozone

    • I studied something analytical in undergrad and got by without having to write major papers or read tons of stuff. I also dislike debating, public speaking, and speaking in general. Will I be able to survive law school?
    • I am about finished my Queen's PS, and I have geared it towards wanting to study environmental law due to my biology undergrad. Is this a bad idea given that Queen's doesn't seem to be especially known for their environmental program? I don't even know if that is the case for any law school in Ontario. Just wanted to make sure I don't make a huge misstep. Thanks!
    • Hey guys,  I have a couple of questions. I know basics about the gpa conversion (the chart they use -4.33 scale) but I'm a little confused on the number of credits drops in my case, as I took some credit/nocredit courses with no percentage/grades given. I have 135 credits in terms of graded ones (I did a fifth year) but I have 144 total credits.  If I drop 6 half year credits my GPA works out to 3.78/4.33 If I drop 8 half year credits, my GPA works out to 3.85/4.33 If I drop 10 half year credits, GPA is 3.90/4.33 My LSAT is a 163. Does anyone know how many credits I would be able to drop in my situation and also what my chances would be? I can't seem to find answers in the threads or when I call the office its opaque Thank you
    • I dont really think its a problem. I took psych 100 and a 200 level course in my final semester.
    • There is an environmental law class, and there's an environmental law club that organizes negotiation competitions involving mock 3-party negotiations between a government, a corporation, and a local community. Students also go to UBC every year to participate in a TRU/UBC/Uvic environmental law negotiation competition. Last year TRU sent multiple teams and took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
