Accepted Windsor Dual 2018

They definitely are! The dual program generally sees less than half the # of applications as the single and the average stats tend to be lower. Im still waiting for my single response, can't afford the dual.

Good luck!

Yay! Good luck, I hope you get in :)

Got accepted a few hours ago.

CGPA: 3.1

LSAT: 162

L2: 3.5

Might actually end up going here, still waiting on my last few 'rejections' :D

I was also waitlisted at Windsor's single JD, so I do think there is not as many people who apply to the Dual, it proved a good way to ensure that I'm going to law school this coming September.

@Brunsauce were you accepted via e-mail or via myuwindsor first? And when were your referred to admissions?

I checked myuwindsor last night, and I was still on referred. This morning I received an email detailing my acceptance, and it was also updated on myuwindsor as well. OLSAS hasn't updated, but I'll give them until Wednesday or Thursday.

I was referred to admissions when I applied (which was mid March) almost immediately after I sent in the Dual JD form and called them to remind them it was in. I don't think that actually means anything but that you're in the queue and you're pending.

I submitted my Dual JD supplementary form in about 10 days ago, and I've been pending review ever since. I know it hasn't been that long and I need to patient, but I have been seeing a bunch of acceptances today so I'm just curious as to when I'll hear back or when I'll be referred.

Any insight?

I was pending review since mid-March, the dual JD deadline was April 15th, so I can only assume now they're looking through the final batch of applicants to sort out the rest of the acceptances.

You've probably heard a thousand times already, but just stay patient! :)

When did you all apply? Nov 1st or closer to the April 15 deadline?

Most of us probably applied for the November 1st. Just about every other Common Law English Canadian program is due November 1st.

I wouldn't worry about the mywindsor status for the dual program as much. I remember I found out I was accepted into the dual program when I still thought my application was "incomplete" online.

I had originally applied to the single program in Nov, and realized in April that my application was "incomplete" because my LSAT score didn't count (I wrote it in Feb for the first time). I did the supplementary form just in time for the dual deadline and heard back that I was accepted before my online platform even swapped to tell me I was referred/in the que or what not.

167 LSAT; 3.7 GPA

How long did it take for you to hear back? You have amazing stats though it's not a surprise you got accepted
