Haha nah, there are a lot of individuals like me, not much identifying info at all !

My stats are very similar to yours and I am also a Canadian NCAA athlete....your point is proven.

Same

i applied last year with basically the same lsat and was in queue sooner (mid feb). I know each cycle is different, but we are cutting super close to the FEB lsat writers and they presumably get into queue in march too

I'm from Canada originally, and with Trump lowering the amount of H1B visas and my atrocious LSAT, the cost benefit of an American law degree (as with my lsat, I would not get into a T-14) there is zero reward of me mortgaging my future on a degree mill from the United States hoping I will be able to pay off my student debt in 25 years.

You're Canadian so you'd need a TN-Visa, not an H1B visa to work as a lawyer in America.

So I haven't heard anything from Osgoode but Oasis is showing that my file was updated yesterday (under status of application) yet nothing has changed in my application. Did this happen to anyone else?

Did it have anything written beside it? or just a date entry?

Mine hasn't been updated since I was placed in queue Nov 30 :'(

It's just the date entry! I happened to randomly check today and realized it had been updated yesterday. I'm not sure if this is good or bad news considering rejections are probably starting soon.

Went in queue yesterday. Pretty low LSAT at 156 (special considerations) so I'm expecting a rejection. 3.7 GPA

You actually have a much better chance than you think. If you look at the accepted thread, a lot of people were accepted with a similar score as you.

In queue as of yesterday.

LSAT: 148, 154

cGPA: 3.63 (it's 84% but had a mediocre first year)

Strong LoR's (I think), pretty insignificant EC's.

No offence but how are people going in queue with low 150 LSAT scores when others still haven't been accepted with scores in the 160s???
