Accepted to Western 2017

Recommended Posts

Just checked on student centre and I was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cGPA:3.35

L2:3.62

I had previously been a deferred decision, so there is hope for others who were deferred. I'll probably be accepting since this is my only offer

I was accepted yesterday as well! Around 3.6 cgpa with final semester grades and 162 lsat

When you go to the student centre and click View Letters, does anyone have any trouble downloading the PDF? It doesn't load for me.

Make sure to allow for pop ups on the western site. That was the problem for me as well, The letter comes as a pop up in a separate window and it kept getting blocked.

Congrats on your acceptance!

Congrats on your acceptances! Anyone accepted in the last couple days, were you on the wait list or just accepted outright?

When it says I have 2 weeks to accept my offer, does that mean I have 2 weeks to firm accept? or is a provision acceptance fine? I still want to be considered for osgoode.

Provisonal acceptance is fine. Consideration will remain for the schools you select on OLSAS and provisonal acceptances will become firm acceptances on July 4th

Accepted about 20 minutes ago, was also a deferred decision.

LSAT: 163

cGPA: 3.30

L2: 3.80

I just completed my undergraduate at Western, and both my LORs were from Western profs, and I'd say decent ECs.  Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Congratulations!

As for your choice - it really should come down to where you want to live and practice. If you want to be in Ontario, go to Western. If you want to be in Alberta, go to U of C.

Good luck!

The above poster is correct - decide based on where you want to practice afterwards. As for London - I had my reservations about the city before starting and now I love it. Sometimes you don't know what a place is like til you live there.

Congrats
