Accepted 2013

Recommended Posts

Curious what your B2 was. My stats are somewhat close.

Oh, and congrats!

thanks!

from my calc my B2 is the same as my 3 years, because my best year doesnt have enough credits for a "full year".

but if it did count as a full year, my B2 would have been 3.8

So I quickly ran some numbers (I've been keeping track as they come in):

We are T+5 days (including 2 weekend days) from the first known acceptance offer and have 15 offers with an average cGPA (rough) of 3.78 and an average LSAT of 167.

In 2011, at T+2 days we had 17 known offers, with an aveage GPA (again, rough as some people only posted their B2) of 3.86 and an average LSAT of 166.

Obviously LawStudents.ca is a self-selecting sample and thus any conclusion we can draw from it will be rough guesses at best, but so far we aren't seeing any significant changes from last year.

Good to know. Last year the first known 3.6X offer was made at T+9 days. I doubt it's significant, but I hope it is!

I'm still waiting with a 3.97 and 168.

...your stats...they're so beautiful *sniff*

I'm surprised you haven't been accepted to either of the schools yet...

Hehe, thanks! Me too! Would having gone on exchange have any impact?

Nothing so far :(

Need to take calm breaths and focus on work instead of obsessing over various trackers. Does Toronto have a tracker? I didn't get an email for one :S

3.78 / 169 (B2 - 3.88)

Relax, with those stats you'll get into both schools. Kick back and wait for the acceptances to roll in.

Exchange marks aren't figured into your GPA, but otherwise there is no impact.

Haha thanks! I was perfectly fine before I logged on here to check if anyone had received an acceptance.

Good Luck all!

I was just wondering if they might want to wait a bit because they only have two years worth of grades for a GPA.

Osgoode doesn't really have an 'access' category per se. Just "Regular" and "Aboriginal". But it does seem likely that we're passing the 'merit' stage of offers.

^ I debated about what to call the "special circumstances" category. I know that Osgoode does not have an "access" category but if I remember correctly, when submitting your application there is the option to submit a piece declaring consideration for various reasons. Equity, disability, etc.

Thank you for correcting me though :) I wouldn't want to spread misinformaiton.

for those that got offer today, when do you have to respond by?

I have no idea, since I can't see any information about my offer on OASIS and they don't tell you much of anything in the e-mail :P
