  1. Yes, it seems like classes will be in person. Halifax is currently going through a third wave and we are shut down however, I am hoping with strict rules now things will be under control by the fall and we can have a somewhat normal school experience (I am from here).
  2. I did not receive an email...do you think this is cause for concern? I received a receipt from student accounts stating the following: Fees Paid: Juris Doctor (Law) for 2021/2022 Fall term in amount of $500.00
  3. Glad to hear others are feeling this financial stress of Dal tuition. Have been having a difficult internal debate for a month or so now about attending Dal or UNB which would be incredibly cheaper and allow for more financial freedom upon graduation. Hoping the decision will become clearer in the coming days!
  4. I agree with everything that has been said. As someone who is still on the fence about attending law school due to horror stories of friends who have graduated in recent years (terrible work life balance, very little pay post graduating, massive amounts of debt, etc) it definitely motivated me and helped me feel excited about going to law school again rather than thinking I was making a terrible life decision Feeling grateful that Dal puts the time, money and resources into events like that!
  5. Sorry for all of the questions. Do you know if is required to be academic or professional, or could it be someone who can vouch for your community involvement if they are familiar with it?

  8. Hi There, In my initial application to Dal Law I sent in 3 letters of reference instead of the required 2. I see that for the scholarships they require an additional reference. Does anyone have any idea if for the scholarships that require an additional letter specifically outlining appropriateness for scholarships?
  9. Accepted yesterday via email. L2: 3.8 LSAT: 160 Applied November 30th, Application under review as of January 11th. Anyone have any idea regarding online vs. in person classes for September 2021? Thanks and good luck everyone!!
  10. Hi Everyone, I am wondering if anyone knows if you accept UNB for the 2021 application cycle, if it notifies other schools of this, or you will still be able to view potential future admissions? I am required to accept by February 1rst, however would still like to be able to see other options if/ when they become available as it is quite early. Thanks so much in advance!
