  1. Thank you for this! I'm considering going out west as well. I haven't taken the LSAT yet, but my GPA is pretty good. I will keep an eye on these forums as well Best of luck out there!
  2. This is an interesting thing to hear! Thank you for your insight.
  3. That's a great point. I do want to eat at some point. Thanks for this.
  4. Hi guys, I am applying to law school this fall and although I have a very clear idea of what I want to do with my degree (criminal law), I have no idea how to choose a school, or even which schools to apply to. I live in Ontario and would be willing to go anywhere in Canada, although the thing that stresses me out the most is the fact that people tell me to "study where you want to practice". I have no idea where I want to practice. I'm worried that if I make the wrong decision in choosing a school, it will hurt my career prospects. Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated! Thanks
  5. Hi everyone, Forgive me if this is a ridiculous question. On every law school website I've looked at, it says to apply you need 90 undergrad credits. My university is 20.0 credits for a degree. What do I do with this information?
  6. Hi everyone, I'm keeping my eye out and was wondering if anyone had a guess as to when the June 2021 LSAT registration will open up. February and April are open, but I'm planning to take the June LSAT. Anyone who wrote in June last year- when did June LSAT registration open? Thanks in advance!
  7. Thanks so much! I have been reading things like that lately, saying an addendum is sometimes more hurtful than helpful. The reason I'm wondering about it is because I have so many transfer credits. I don't know if that's necessarily a bad thing.
  8. Hi everyone! I've been lurking on here for a while now, but finally decided to make an account because I have an oddly specific question and was wondering if anyone had any input. I will be applying to law schools next cycle (November 2021). For most schools that I am considering, the personal statement is asking to describe myself as well as why I am interested in going to law school. I have a very strong personal reason for why I would like to go to law school and a clear path for where I want to go, but these reasons can also be applied to the "part B" or addendum, that kind of thing. My GPA is 3.8 but I think I might want to add some personal reasons for part B or special consideration. I know there's a lot left to guess here, but since I don't know any of you I'd rather not share all of the details. If you can message me, I'd love to go over this with you! Anyway, my question is, should I include my story of why I want to go to law school in my main personal statement, or should I have that in the second part? I don't want to have two personal statements that are about a sad tragic life. Lol. So yeah.. CGPA is 3.8, I think I have good references, good extracurricular/work experience, absolutely zero clue how the LSAT is going to go, but I guess that's not really relevant to this question. I think I'm pretty okay with writing academically as well. I like to think my story is pretty strong for my personal statement. Thanks in advance, and again feel free to message me or ask questions if necessary!
