  1. quick response - in many instances. You are copying and pasting isolated sentences from each paper in order to misrepresent the conclusions OR you incorrectly severe the logic between the isolated sentences and the conclusion. You skimmed through them. You also added arrogant comments that you are not qualified to make such as "this is self-evidently idiotic"
  2. well read on and see the result coupled with the socio-economic impact...
  3. "But the link between limiting pathogen exposure and improving public health is not always so straightforward. Reducing the risk that each member of a community will be exposed to a pathogen has the attendant effect of increasing the average age at which infections occur. For pathogens that inflict greater morbidity at older ages, interventions that reduce but do not eliminate exposure can paradoxically increase the number of cases of severe disease by shifting the burden of infection toward older individual"
  4. Here are 16 peer reviewed papers from universities around the world on why lockdowns are useless: https://thefatemperor.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/1.-LANCET-LOCKDOWN-NO-MORTALITY-BENEFIT-A-country-level-analysis-measuring-the-impact-of-government-actions.pdf https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.03.30.20047860v3 https://arxiv.org/abs/2005.02090 https://thefatemperor.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/6.-PREPRINT-LOCKDOWN-ADDED-LITTLE-OR-NOTHING-PROF-BEN-ISRAEL.pdf https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.05.01.20088260v2 https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.24.20078717v1 https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.09.26.20202267v1 https://www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m3588 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2652751/ https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3607803 https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.10.09.20210146v2 https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3665588 https://www.nber.org/papers/w27719 https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m3543 https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.11.01.20222315v1 https://pandata.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Exploring-inter-country-variation.pdf I can keep going...
  5. Well you have turned this discussion into complete garbage and a smear campaign. Good to know this is not a place for networking, but for an incubator of group-think. Please, carry on watching CP24 and don’t forget to follow the latest health expert advice and to wear two mask
  6. You can begin by looking into the models of countries which had no lock down or very low/ voluntary restrictions: Sweden, Switzerland, Belarus are examples. I suggest going past the first page of results on Google. Germany, as another example, has initialed a massive law-suit against its government. This is mainstream news, but not the kind you would see on CP-24: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91OwSULtDcg Next the flaws of the PCR test, including the primers and number of cycles used. Here is a simple, non-controversial video on Youtube explaining the basics: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_1Z8cSXI-Q&fbclid=IwAR3GIHuPrDmlA78uQ5T5O6fcbIqk-FtWOXT6ST-7InJV5aFL4TrJo4zQD1U In Ontario, cycle thresholds are not disclosed, nor are are the primers. Instead you just get a positive or negative result, which then determines your freedom of mobility for the next 14 days. Portugal just made landmark decision asserting that "PCR is unable to determine, beyond reasonable doubt, that a positive result corresponds, in fact, to the infection of a person by the SARS-CoV-2 virus" World-renowned doctors who have spoke against lockdowns and restrictions (this is just a handful, there are many more): Dr. Dolores Cahill, PhD in Molecular Genetics from Trinity College Dublin (1989) and her PhD in Immunology from Dublin City University in 1994. Group leader to the Protein Technology Group in the Max-Planck-Institute of Molecular Genetics, Berlin, Germany (1996-2003) Dr. John Ioannidis, professor of Epidemiology, Sandford University Prof K, WITTKOWSKI - Ph. D Senior Research Associate of The Rockefeller University Their interviews are usually not available on YouTube. You can find them on SoundCloud or Bitchute.com One on masks that comes to mind right now: "Masks Don't Work: review of science relevant to COVID-19 social policy". DC. Rancourt, PhD, University of Ottawa
  7. Thanks to everyone who had the bravery to voice an opinion that goes against the grain. Thanks to those who also engaged in personal attacks against me and added a slew of assumptions in regard to my post - I disagree with you, but I do respect your ability to form an opinion and to voice it, although I would prefer that you showed me the same respect that I have shown you. I did not want this to turn into a discussion on the merits of lockdowns and restrictions. If you agree with them, that's your right and you are absolutely free to associate with like-minded people. In fact, it would be best to leave this thread and to start a pro-lockdown and pro-restrictions one. I doubt that you would face opposition or the same abuse and ridicule, which I have faced, so it would be easy. I don't agree with these unreasonable lockdowns and restriction. I am looking to join a network of legal professionals which shares my views and which disagrees or questions, the constitutionality, legality and impact on personal freedoms, which these measures have undoubtedly infringed upon. I reached my conclusions through doing research, using my own critical thinking and my own experiences. Really, isn't that the foundation of free thinking and progress? I did my undergrad in Health Sciences and I see an overwhelming amount of scientific flaws in the data with which we are presented. I also see a disturbing amount of hypocrisy, abuse and ridicule towards anyone who shares my views. In law school, we are repeatedly taught about the importance of the freedom of speech, thought, expression and association. Yet, law students are the first ones to attack a non-mainstream opinion. I guess we have the freedom of speech, as long as that freedom of speech agrees with the mainstream view. Reminds me of that South Park episode where they mocked High School Musical and said "Do what you want to do, as long as what you want to do is the same as what everyone else wants to do". The common law is based on the adversarial system, where both sides must present their views and evidence. What we see today in terms of the pandemic is the equivalent of having a trial, where only one side is allowed to present its view and evidence; the other sides is mocked and ridiculed and a verdict is reached, with law students cheering for the winner.
  8. I was expecting all the hateful comments so I’m really not bothered. if anyone feels uncomfortable posting on this thread, but has similar views, don’t hesitate to message me personally. it’s way more difficult to swim against the current than it is to go with the flow. I have an articling position already so I’m not looking for that.
  9. I’m looking to join a group/network of law students or lawyers who are against lockdowns and restrictions. I’m also hoping to connect or volunteer for firms that are involved with challenging the constitutionality of recent restrictions; providing legal representation for people who have been arrested for protesting or those have been given hefty fines for not wearing masks, etc. can anyone point me to such groups/networks or firms? Thanks for the help! -
  10. Congrats! I applied to Cavaluzzo, Goldblatt and CAMH but did not hear from them
  11. if we don't reply to an ITC will they take it as not being interested? I haven't replied to any.. Also, how are we supposed to answer our calls on Friday at 8 am if multiple employers call us? Will they all be calling at 8am?Can we call beck or are the calling blocked? Will they leave voicemails?
