  1. Hey I know this post is old, but what was your LSAT and GPA if you dont mind me asking?
  2. Anyone here know the minimum score and GPA requirement for UoCalgary Law?
  3. So update, LSAC reached out to me and scheduled a retest for this Friday, just like some of you advised. Thank you for your help.
  4. You’ll be fine if you really devote your time to studying only, no procrastination what so ever. I would recommend joining a prep course so you can cope with the the information better. I joined Harvard ready and got 159 on my first try. It is $1100 for their course but remember it’s money spent on education and your further, which is justified in comparison to other miscellaneous expenses we have.
  5. In the middle of my exam my session got disconnected, the proctor informed me that it was disconnected on their end in the chat. I had to wait 20 minutes till the proctor fixed the issue, thats cool and all but the proctor wasn't able to resume my section from the time I left off, it showed that time was up but I had 8 minutes left on Section of Logic Games question 19. The proctor filed a report and it totally messed up my rhythm. If you know what I mean. The proctor advised me to let LSAC know about the issue faced but knowing LSAC the best thing they will do is refund me or let me write it in January (which I can't do) so this has jeopardized my future in law school and it may even delay it for a year. What are my options here, any advice?
  6. Schools that accept my humber degree are - Windsor, Ottawa, Western, Ryerson & Queens. These are the only schools that accept my degree in Ontario.
  7. they don't have humber college on the list of schools
  8. Since I am getting so many mixed answers, I am reaching out here to settle this questions. I graduated with a Bachelor of Paralegal degree with 71.6% as my average. I was first enrolled in the diploma program from there I transferred to the degree program with an advance standing. My question is on 4.0 GPA scale what is my gpa in accordance to my final average?
  9. Update: So I emailed the admissions at Windsor Law, and this is what she replied with "It does help tremendously to have a strong letter, so as long as the faculty member can speak to your academic ability, I don’t think the timing is heavily looked upon in my opinion. Our Law School uses a holistic approach so the reference letters are just one of many aspects they look at. Just as an FYI - having the highest grades or highest scores etc. does not necessarily mean that applicants are guaranteed admission because it doesn’t…..it varies with every application. Just ensure that all your documents are the strongest they can possibly be and hopefully, collectively, they will suffice to the reviewers."
  10. I had a question in regards to the academic reference letter required for the law school applications. I recently completed a Bachelor Of Paralegal from Humber College and during our programs we have had different profs for almost every subject. Is it true that A law school might find a letter from a professor that taught me one course less compelling even if it is a strong letter? Let me know what you guys think. P.S. I have also emailed the admissions office of the law schools im applying at. Thanks.
  11. Thank you this really helps clarifying everything, and thanks for letting me know I would post there in the future
