The 2L Calgary recruit is being held entirely online this fall. All we know is that OCIs will be virtual (Zoom or Webex). Obviously, this is a new and uncertain process for both students and firms. U of C did an opt-in pass/fail system and U of A did mandatory pass/fail. Going into it, there are concerns about how applications will be assessed, the ability to get to know the firms only through a computer screen, and if there will be any in person opportunities between OCIs and call day (I understand firms are also worried about a lot of this).
Just wondering if anyone has any insight or advice going through this process. Have you heard anything about how firms will be approaching the online recruit and/or any advice on how to stand out.
