  1. Oooh good to know!! I'll be submitting soon so will definitely be sending them an email a while after that haha If you don't mind sharing, how did you ask them in your email?
  2. Hi! Just to piggyback off this, around when would it be a good idea to email them? Thanks
  3. Pretty much what the title says, thanks in advance!
  4. Hey everyone! For the optional essay, do we have to clearly indicate which topic we've chosen to write on or do we just assume they'll figure out since it's pretty obvious? Also, do people generally write the optional essay? Thanks in advance!
  5. I agree with everyone else! I had the same problem, and when I sent a follow up email to the professor they replied the same day and agreed to write me a letter. Their inbox is probably just full so definitely reach out again.
  6. I think you can just leave it like that because then all your classes are weighted the same way... my classes are 3 credits (sometimes 1 and sometimes 4) so I used those numbers
  7. Hey! I used this calculator, and I got the exact same GPA as when they formally processed my transcript through CAS so it seems pretty accurate. https://7sage.com/gpa-calculator/ And then this to find info for my school specifically to put in the calculator: https://members.lsac.org/MenuItems/IGUGS/IGUGS-Search.aspx Hope this helps!
  8. Makes sense, thanks guys Definitely won't be slacking off but I was just curious how/if they factored into admission - thanks for the input!
  9. Yes, I tried to convert them as best as I could... not entirely sure if I'm doing it right. I got to UBC so my grades are in a percentage/letter grade format.
  10. That's good to hear, thanks! I'm obviously not planning on letting my Fall 2020 grades slip, but do you think there's any chance that these grades would make them reconsider an offer?
  11. 3.79 GPA/B3 and 168 LSAT! You also commented on my recent Chances post haha
  12. Hey everyone, I'll be applying to UofT this year and I'm currently in my 4th year of undergrad. I was wondering how much my 4th year grades matter in the admission decision or is this something they just look at if you've been accepted and to make sure you maintained a certain standard? Thanks!
  13. Thank you! I'm just nervous given my cGPA is below the median... do you think it makes sense to retake the LSAT or should I just focus on putting together a great personal statement and give it a shot with this score?

  15. Hey! I've also been having the same issue and reached out to OUAC. They said even if they have received the transcript it could take weeks to show up as received in their system. It's pretty strange, but might just be a standard delay as they update the status of transcripts. Also - for the transcript they did update as processed for you, did they tell you what your GPA is one the OLSAS scale? I'm just curious as to what to expect when they process my transcript.
  16. Hi everyone, I was wondering what you guys thought of my chances! I'm currently in a business undergrad program so my cGPA is pretty much my B3. My first year grades aren't that great but I had a significant increase after my first year, which is reflected in my transcript. I've also taken a rigorous course load throughout, done 2 internships (one at a Big 4), and been involved with many on-campus organizations and clubs. I was also wondering if anyone could shed some light on how U of T looks at your transcript - do the consider year to year improvement and the courses you took? I've only written the LSAT once and don't really want to write it again so I'm wondering what my chances are with these stats. Thanks in advance!
  17. Hi! I just used this calculator and I was wondering what the difference is between cumulative and best 3? I'm going into my 4th year of undergrad so I only have 3 years of grades to report, but I'm getting different GPAs for those categories using the calculator. Thanks in advance!
  18. Hi everyone! I'm planning to apply to schools in the fall and have just recently started learning more about the process. I was hoping someone could help shed some light on what is meant by a B3 GPA for the University of Toronto? If I'm applying in the 4th year of my undergrad (only 3 years of undergrad grades), does that mean my cGPA is the same as my B3? Would really appreciate any help :) Thanks!
