  8. What did it say before this?
  9. Je crois qu'il y a déjà une discussion à ce sujet!
  10. I don't think there are interviews for this term due to the pandemic!
  11. Oui! J'ai reçu le même courriel hier et comme toi, j'ai fait une demande pour un seul programme. J'espère qu'on va avoir des bonnes nouvelles bientôt
  12. Hi! Just to let you both know that I recently took the TFI in person at Centre Artigue! They are a language school here in mtl. You can visit their website/call them to find out about their next date but I just did mine Nov 17
  13. Yes you could! The TFI/TEF is an independent thing. Many people take these tests for a variety of reasons, not just to be accepted into law school. Therefore, you are definitely allowed to take the test before having applied as many times as you'd like and you are free to send in whichever results you deem best. I recently contacted Udem admissions and they said that your grade for this exam doesn't matter, as long as it is above a 785/990 (for the TFI, not sure about TEF) you are admissible to the program and a higher grade does not mean a higher chance of getting accepted.
  14. Right now I've had a very hard time finding another option. I recently signed up for the TFI at Centre Lartigue (in person as well) but if that gets cancelled too then I really think the last option is TEF express
  15. Ugh the same thing happened to me when I applied 2 years ago - it sucks. Did you manage to successfully sign up for any of the TFI dates without it being cancelled a few weeks later? I tried to sign up at college momo and now UQAM but both exams are cancelled let me know if you have any luck. Also good luck to you for the exam!!
  16. I really appreciate your gesture! For now, I am set on writing the TFI if one of the centres doesn't end up cancelling their sessions. If anything changes, I shall let you know haha!
  17. I think you should definitely give the TFI a shot. Are you bilingual? Especially with your GPA, I think you have an excellent chance getting in to UdeM!

  19. Based on my personal experience, you can absolutely take it after you apply but you do not have to wait until you receive an acceptance in order to take it. You may be accepted on condition that you obtain the required grade (785/990) and in case that this is not obtained then it would result in a refusal. It may also be the case that they accept you, had you not received the grade requirement, on condition that you fulfill some french course(s) on top of your legal course load. Although, I am not sure what grade/conditions you need to have this scenario happen to you. Hope this helps.
  20. As for the TFI, you need a 785/990 to be considered for UdeM. I would suggest taking the TFI as soon as you apply, giving yourself as much time as you need. It is helpful to note that you are allowed to take the TFI as many times as it is offered (usually once every month) and you may submit the grade that you choose to UdeM (arguably, your best grade) once you are satisfied with it. You must make sure this grade is obtained at a maximum of 18 months (I believe?) prior to being admitted so it is still valid. One downside of going this route may be it might be quite costly, as the TFI hovers around 95 USD. However, if you choose to do this I believe it takes some of the pressure of receiving a perfect score right off the first try so it may be worth it. Of course, this is just my opinion though!
  21. Hi everyone! Not sure if anyone is in the same boat as me but I signed up for the TFI (October 17, in Laval) and it recently got cancelled. I was debating doing the TEF Express but have heard that it is more difficult than the TFI... Does anyone have any tips or advice on this topic? Do you know of any location or establishment that is actually going through with the TFI in person? Thanks in advance!

Hey! Congrats on your acceptance. I was wondering if you had any advice for taking the TEF express?
