  1. Congratulations on your acceptances (and waitlists)! I echo the comments above. It is extremely risky waiting after July 2nd holding out hope for the other schools. If cost isn’t an issue and you aspire to work in international law, then you should seriously consider the Dual program. I think at the very least start by researching both schools and both cities to see if you can picture yourself going there. There’s a great book I recently read: “Bridging the Law: 50 Years of Windsor Law”. You can find a PDF version on UWin’s website. It’s an informative book that provides detailed insight into the history of the Dual JD and their law school more broadly. I also strongly encourage you to research the curriculum, see what electives Windsor and Lakehead offer, check out the faculty bios, and identify clinics, clubs, and other opportunities to see what areas of practice are emphasized that align with your interests. Ultimately, only you can make the best decision for yourself. But if you choose to gamble and you don’t end up going to law school this fall then you’ll have to live with the risk you took. Right now you have options, and that’s a good problem to have! Good luck.
  2. No one here can tell you why you were waitlisted. Everyone's application is unique. Would a master's degree and work experience help? Probably. But so would a higher GPA and LSAT, along with a well-written personal statement and compelling autobiographical sketch. Trying to pinpoint specific reasons as to why you were waitlisted is impossible.
  3. I appreciate your post, however, unless your concerns specifically pertain to the waitlist, I don't think this is the thread to be having this type of discussion.
  4. I was just able to log in now!! So seems to be back up, at least from my end haha.
  5. Accepted today! cGPA: 3.89 LSAT: 152 MA in Social Justice
  6. I'm hearing that Windsor may be behind this year. Anyone still waiting for a response? Honestly, at this point, any form of communication by them would be nice. Feels like an eternity -.- July 2nd will come quick. These next few weeks will be stressful :s
  7. Waitlisted May 28th cGPA: 3.89 LSAT: 152 MA in Social Justice
  8. Rejected late March cGPA: 3.89 LSAT: 152 Master's in social justice and community engagement, good ECs, great references, graduate research and teaching experience, multiple peer-reviewed publications, etc. etc. ... LSAT likely didn't cut it. Disappointed, but not entirely surprised. Best of luck to those still waiting!
  9. 26! Will be 27 midway through first semester.
  10. Offer on RAMSS and OLSAS, March 13. cGPA: 3.89 LSAT: 152 MA in Social Justice
