  1. I was hoping for some advice regarding whether doing some law-related but unpaid work for your 2L summer at an NGO would put you at a disadvantage for articling recruit. I'm currently stumped on whether to take an unpaid job or to keep searching in the hopes that I find something that pays and that could lead to an eventual articling position. I'm also currently in a lot of debt and I'm not sure if it would be smart to do something unpaid and go even deeper into debt for the experience, as much as I do want experience. Any advice would be appreciated!
  2. Does anyone know of any labour and employment firms that haven't done their summer hiring yet? I know a large majority, if not all, participated in the formal recruitment process, but it's the area of law I'm most interested in.
  3. Is it safe to say that if we haven't heard anything by now, we won't be hearing anything?
  4. They set up a time in advance. I submitted my application on Sunday and they contacted me on Monday for a Tuesday call
  5. I had a call with WeirFoulds on Tuesday and have heard nothing since. I know from other people that Blaneys has sent out infirm invitations already
  6. How is the prep different for infirms than it was for OCIs? What should we be focusing on?
  7. Has anyone at queens heard from Filion Wakely?
  8. Has anyone heard from Koskie Minsky, Gardiner Roberts or Torkin Manes?
