  1. Hi Everyone, I have been looking/applying for articling positions but have not had any luck yet. For those of you who found your articling position outside of the formal recruit process, what advice do you have for me? Where did you look for articling positions? Do you know any firms that hire in the next few months? What were your grades? (I have a couple of Cs). Did you network? At this point, I don't mind any area of law but do prefer to work in Toronto. Your answers are much appreciated! Thank you!
  2. http://www.catchajob.ca/job/city-of-mississauga-articling-student-2016-2017-contract-in-mississauga-on/ Here is an older post which clearly says the hourly rate is $37.11.
  3. Yea, I don't know if they made a mistake on their post. I heard the City of Toronto pays a salary of $67,000 per year which is still pretty high. We need people who have articled at these places before to confirm lol.
  4. Their articling post on LinkedIn stated that the hourly pay is $37.
  5. Hey everyone, I am compiling data on how much each municipality pays their articling students and 1st year associates. I know that articling students at the City of Mississauga get paid $37/hr but I don't have data on the other cities like the City of Toronto, the Halton Region, Peel Region, Durham Region etc. If you are someone who is/had/will article at any of these places or is an associate, please share your salary and benefits, if you want. Thank you!
