  1. L2 3.665, lsat 148, 151, 157, lots of EC and good references. Couldn’t seem to find anyone with similar stats

  3. I would check again about classes after nov 1st, since that’s a very random date. If they don’t intend on using your fall grades, they would just not include the entire semester. From my understanding, anything up until dec 31 of the year you are applying will be used in assessing you
  4. It’s the same, except if you have any A+’s. If so, it would count as a 4.33.
  5. U of A student here. They skip over P/F courses and go back until they have 60 credits (or more) depending on how your credits get broken up. So if you had 3 P/F in one semester, they’d take the 6 credits (2 classes) that count, and take the other 9 credits from the previous semester, plus whatever else falls into that semester.
  6. This is the typical one for U of A. I’m not sure if Faculty of Law uses a different one as each faculty has their own.
  7. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you can apply with a diploma? You need 90 credits if you’re applying for general category
  8. I would love to hear any feedback about the joint program if anyone has looked into it or completed it! Can’t seem to find too much on the internet.
  9. Lmao ya last time I ever listen to them. I’ll take a look, thank you!
  10. Okay Jesus Christ I get it I’m wrong and you guys are right. I was told by my admissions officer that the whole point of going to a top school is to get into the top schools afterwords since it shows the grit you had to finish the degree with such good grades. My apologies for that assumption. But can we can get back to what my chances are regardless if I went to u of T or a damn clown college?
  11. Aw that’s great to hear! You did a great job.
  12. I’m not saying I’m better than other people for going to a higher ranked school, I’m saying the workload and the standards I’ve met are different. While I understand it wouldn’t make a huge difference in admissions when compared to other components, I do believe if two students with the exact same stats and ECs were to apply with the same GPA from two different schools, the one ranked higher would be seen as more competitive.
  13. I don’t agree with you. A 3.7 GPA from UBC or U of T says a lot more than a 3.7 GPA from a community college or a lower ranked school like Carleton. I think where you went to school and what grades you were able to get in that school speak a lot about what kind of student you are.
  14. Hi. I’m applying in the fall and taking my LSAT this June. I’m freaking out because I don’t think I’m competitive enough and it’s affecting my LSAT prep. Can someone please let me know if this seems to be competitive enough for TRU law? Last 60 credits GPA: 3.72/4.0 from one of the top 5 schools in Canada LSAT: PTing around 155-158 with a goal of 160 for the day of. EC: President of an undergraduate department, multiple volunteer positions, work outside of school, been volunteering since first year, involved in a rec sport team
