  1. How/where do I convert it on a 4.3 scale? And I took 43 actually. Do you have a link?
  2. Hello, as the numbers suggest, I am looking at a CGPA Of 3.29-3.3 and a L2/B2 of between 3.56 to 3.6. Haven’t taken the LSAT yet. Really strong reference letters, as well as volunteer experience working for the Y coaching kids, as well as working for the Calgary Food Bank. Professionally, I’ve been in Corporate Sales for 3+ years now, before that was in banking. Been working since I was 16, 25 now. Im really curious about my chances at UofC first, then others, as I live in Calgary. What type of LSAT score would help me secure a spot there? What about other B2 schools like Queens, TRU? What about other schools like UManitoba, USask, UNB? Be realistic please.
  3. Hello, I'm in my 4th year at UofL in Calgary and currently have the following stats after entering my stuff into the OLSAS calculator on this website: CGPA: 3.21 L2: 3.53 B3: 3.32 I'm practicing the LSAT test and lowest I've had is 163. Highest I've had is 167. Work Experience: I've been working in Business Development full-time now for about 3+ years. Before that worked at a bank full-time and before that retail jobs. Always worked 30+ hours a week to support family. Extra-curricular include mentoring high school kids and giving keynote speeches for Muslim Community kids for career growth. Reason for low CGPA is one BAD year dealing with a lot of personal problems. I know I won't get into UBC, Osgoode, UVic and UofT. Even though iId love to go there, I'm being realistic. But my goal is Queens. My list includes Dal, UofC, USask, Western, Ottawa, and UofA. What are my chances in these schools? What about the other schools? I'm open to go to any school that takes me but would LOVE to go to Queens. and If not, then one from my list.
  4. Okay. That's a relief. Now are you saying general admission or are you saying a special category? Additionally, what do you suggest one should to do practice and score high on your LSAT.

  6. Do you mind telling me what were the conditions you cited for access or discretionary? You dont have to give me exact details or dont even tell me here. Maybe if you could send me a message? Im just trying to judge whether my circumstances are applicable or not. Also, what are the typical requirements for mature category? Do you mind helping me?
  7. Do you mind telling me the other schools you got in? I’m really interested in finding out.
  8. According to my predictions.. I will have out of my last 20 courses? 4-5 B/B+. I got one B.. rest are B+. I got one C in Calculus as I had not done math for a LONG time. the rest are either As or A-s. That puts my L2 to be between 3.4 to 3.5. 3.55 would be the BEST case scenario. My first two years in school, due to many reasons, I had a tough go at it which is my CGPA takes a hit. As I did horrible in my first two years. What does the UVic look at? Sorry I haven't inquired with them yet. L2, B2, B3, or CGPA?
  9. Which 4 schools? Can you also tell me what you mean by PS is tailored?
  10. L2/B2 meaning last two or best two years, correct?
  11. I can't see your gif so I can't tell lol. I'm assuming you're not pro international schools?
  12. What are your thoughts on schools outside of Canada? Like in the U.K. or U.S.?
  13. Wow this is probably the most reinforcing post I read so far haha. Yes I am working hard to make sure my last 10 remaining courses I knock it out of the park, and get my GPA over my last 20 courses or two years to be as high as 3.5. However, that would still put my CGPA at 3.29. Wow that's amazing. Was that a 3.09 CGPA or 3.09 in your last two years? What do you mean by fairly late cycle? And that's good to hear about your interview. What did you do that worked so well? I'm completely open to other schools, however I do ask you does it matter which school you attend for law? If so, how? What is the reputation for UNB or Manitoba or UVic? Thank you for your advice with the studying. I can't tell you how much that means! Additional question: What is your view on schools outside of Canada?
  14. I'm sorry if its unclear. I'm sort of new to this whole thing and am trying to figure it out. The situation is my CURRENT CGPA is 3.13 (4.0 scale). I have 10 courses left. I predict that my CGPA will be between 3.2 to 3.3 and my GPA for my last 20 courses or last two years would be between 3.4 to 3.5. Wow that is actually a great idea, transferring. Can you please guide me a bit more on that? How would one go about doing that?
