    Accepted to Calgary 2019

Accepted on November 23 via email cGPA: 76% L2: 84% LSAT: 150, 164, 164. Have worked abroad, in Canada, and have extensive start up experience (graduated in 2014). Calgary is near the top of my list. Solid chance I’ll accept but I will need to see my other options
  3. I did my undergrad at UBC and it seems clear that somebody with an A- average can be anywhere from 80-84%, yet if DAL's calculation was based on letter grades (as their online GPA calculation tool indicates), somebody with a much better A- (84%) would be getting the same treatment as somebody with the lowest possible A- (80%). So, my question is, would this UBC chart be a reliable indicator of how DAL calculates at your GPA on a 4.3 scale? UBC transcripts have both the percentage and letter grade. https://students.arts.ubc.ca/advising/academic-performance/gpa-equivalency/
  4. The admin merged my posts, sorry about the repetition folks haha,
  5. Do you think a unique background/personal statement really make a difference at UVic in terms of making it off the waitlist or do they just take people off the waitlist based on their LSAT/GPA?
  6. Copy and pasted this post in Calgary as well so don't hold that against me haha...however DAL is my first choice. I've heard such great things about the school and city! I am so paranoid because of my crappy cGPA and very bad first LSAT write. Anybody got some comments on my chances of getting into Dal for fall 2019? cGPA = 75.8% L2 is between 83.7% and 84.5%. Depends on whether you strictly look at 60 credits or the entire two years. LSAT scores are: 150, 164, 164 Work experience/diversity is unique IMO, from a Latin American background, worked in music marketing in London, UK for 2 years, have been running an education based start-up for the past 18 months with a focus on immigrant backgrounds and breaking down cultural barriers and now an assistant at a civil litigation firm. Both references are from UBC history prof's who I got to know very well in the year I went back to school for.

  8. What do you reckon would be a safe score? 166 at least?
  9. Was wondering if somebody has an idea about my chances for UVic in Fall 2019. I am questioning if I should rewrite the LSAT again or if I should leave it LSAT: 150, 164 UBC GPA with drops: 78.6% L2: 84.5%
