  1. cgmp thank you so much for going into detail about your experience. I found it extremely helpful!
  2. I'm guessing that this might be addressed during orientation. However, I've been wondering about what extra curricular activities are available for incoming first year students. Given that we will not have any useful legal knowledge when we first begin school in September, I suspect that 1Ls would be pretty useless for things like mooting or editing for a journal (correct me if I'm wrong). With this in mind, are there any activities you would recommend 1Ls to pursue, things you really enjoyed in your first year, or that you wished you had taken part in during your first year? Any and all insight is appreciated for this nervous ninny.
  3. Thanks everyone! Follow-up question: Is it standard for the student line of credit to convert to a normal line of credit with a higher interest rate (e.g. prime + 3%) 12 months after graduation?
  4. Waitlisted to today. I won't be accepting the spot on the waitlist.
  5. Happy Friday! First off, I've searched for information on this question within the community but I have yet to find the answer to this specific question: Is prime + 0% the best offer for a law student line of credit that you've heard of or should I keep looking? CIBC offered me this straight away, so I'm not sure if I should keep shopping around or if this as good as I can expect. Additionally, any other factors I should negotiate for? Thanks for any and all help.
  6. Hi! Unfortunately, I don't have any useful knowledge about international grade conversions. I went to a University in Ontario so I had no need. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
  7. I finally got in a few days ago. There's not much to see--hardly any posts yet. Try cancelling your request and then sending it again.
  8. Does this require any action on our part because I'm still pending?
  9. Hey, did you ever figure out how to join the group? I'm having the same problem. Thanks!
  10. Thank you. I believe a 88.4% should convert somewhere around a 3.82/4.00. I received my acceptance around 11:30 am.

  12. Congratulations on your acceptance! I'm curious as to whether you were a regular applicant or not. Do you mind to share?
