  1. I took it 3 times back to back and now i'm finishing up 1L at UVic. As long as you keep improving on your scores, you should be fine June 2017 - 149 Sept 2017- 153 December 2017 - 163
  2. Very easy to form connections. There are several events throughout the year and especially during the first 2 weeks of legal process, and you'll be able to make a lot of connections both with 1L's and 2-3L's that come to those events. You'll also see the drunk side of at least 30% of the class, on multiple occasions... lol, so yea, people get comfortable and make connections very quickly. Keep in mind, most of us don't come from Victoria (or even BC for many of us), and so, we're all here on our own *moreorless*, which means social events generally have high attendance rates because we're all here just to study and have nothing else to do lol... unlike say UBC or Osgoode where the majority of students at those schools are from Vancouver/Toronto and simply go home after classes. Basically to keep it short, our school is anything but a commuter school, so people tend to stick around and build connections during lunch, after class, at LSS events and so on (but only during first semester, then the school slowly turns into a commuter school with nobody sticking around)
  3. GPA and LSAT are 50/50 but that doesnt mean other things aren't looked at.
  4. I believe it was since May 2018
  5. Accepted Completely forgot what my gpa is on the uvic scale lsat 163
  6. Thank you so much! Did you edit that list? The one i got just included the numbers and not the course name and credits beside it ( i did find them on aurora but having them on the same list is so much better! Thank you)
  7. Okay so atleast i’m not making a mistake. So just to double check, we just enrol in our 7 courses while making sure they are all in one of the 3 sections right? There isn’t another page where we have to also register for a specific section right..? Just choosing the 7 courses within one section basically qualifies as “registering” in the section.. thanks for the help!
  8. Sounds so counter intuitive... Given the fact that they told us exactly which 7 courses we have to enrol in... we might as well just enrol in the section itself and not have to input each seperately. It is what it is i guess
  9. (asked this in the course selection forum too but thought current students would be a better choice) So a couple questions for courses... To enrol.. I don't see an option to select a section (a01 a02 a03)... I just see the option to register for individual courses (do we just register all our courses in say section a01? Or do we first go ahead and select A01 and then choose our individual courses?) And that leads to my next question, Are we supposed to enrol in all 7 Courses in our section? Because why bother making us enrol in each course one by one if we are taking all 7 courses listed in the section... why not just make us select our section and automatically get enrolled in each course affiliated with that section.. Am I missing something here?
  10. So a couple questions for courses... 1. The email we got says August 1st but my Aurora says July31 (which one is it...lol) 2. I don't see an option to select a section... 11. Yea I got the email yesterday too, I guess we don’t have to setup our own schedules afterall
  12. Is the floor for grad students only? I heard so long as you’ve finished 8 months of undergrad at any university, you can go to AVM, so basicallt anyone excet for 1st year undergrad students also, anyone else if you can share your experiences regarding pembina, avm, mary speechly and ucr we would very much appreciate it!
  13. Final waitlisted today Also, guys please dont spam this page. There are some accounts that are posting every single day... Try and keep it focused on just waitlist posts and not additional conversations. Some people check this site 24/7 and to constantly get notifications and realize it's just a couple people having public conversations, it just gets annoying after a while. Please keep the convos in private messages. Thanks
  14. Did anybody get another email from Queens acknowledging that they recieved your request to be kept on the waitlist? Other schools all emailed me a day later letting me know that they recieved my emailed confirmation but Queens hasnt
