  1. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure.
  2. I just got off the phone with someone at Ottawa and the woman said that she has no knowledge if a revised waitlist will even be coming out. She couldn't speak to if or when that would occur. She said to accept the number you have and if you are at the top of the list an admissions officer will contact you. Suffice to say that I registered for an LSAT course this morning.
  3. Thank you for the insight, itch was definitely scratched.
  4. I suppose that's the same for me, I consistently had a couple B's every year. Suppose I should've actually read the readings haha.
  5. I'm actually on the waitlist and I don't think you should give up your spot. That being said, if you cannot secure sufficient funding, would Ottawa allow you to defer a year so you don't have to go through the application process again? Albeit, I have zero knowledge of which schools do deferrals or for what reasons. I hope you get your funding.
  6. Be honest, did that 0.01 erk you? Haha. Amazing cGPA and thank you for the response.
  7. I've been curious about this for a while, for those of you who have at least but not too much higher than a 3.70 cGPa, what do your transcripts look like? For reference, I was told by the law school adviser at my school that because my cGPA was over 80% on their scale (84% to be exact), it would likely transfer to at least a 3.7 on the 4.0. Ignorantly, I took her information as accurate and was surprised when it wasn't so. To be clear, I don't think the difference between my 3.62 and a 3.70 would've been the deciding factor in gaining admissions this cycle. Simply because my LSAT wasn't optimal (154). I received 28 A's and 12 B's in my undergrad. A B- being my lowest grade. A+: 5 A: 11 A-: 12 B+: 6 B: 5 B-: 1 I don't expect anyone to list them all out as I have; I am merely inquiring.
  8. Thanks for calling too, the man I was speaking to was giving me one word answers and didn't seem like he wanted to talk to me, which is understandable. Shitty news nonetheless.
  9. Respectfully, I don’t know where people became confused with my comment, they said they might not make a revised list, they said absolutely nothing about not admitting anyone.
  10. I would say no, he was saying if your number gets picked, you'll be contacted as of now.
  11. Called admissions today and they told me that they weren't sure if they were even doing a revised list anymore, I asked if they knew when that decision would be firmly made and he said he couldn't tell me. Frustrating to say the least.
  12. I like the way you think, and for the sake of my sanity, I hope you are correct!
  13. Not sure if it helps because I applied in the general categories but, I got rejected from all Ontario schools with the exception of Ottawa where I am waitlisted with a 3.63 cGPA and 154 LSAT. Although I am not diverse in any way and my "unique" experience is that I work at a law firm. Though, I don't know how unique that is. I'd suggest rewriting. Best of luck and good on you for improving throughout school given your circumstances.
  14. This is going to be my last comment on this thread for a while out of respect for what Erin said, and I don’t want to be the reason that this thread gets locked because I think it’s helpful to all of us on the waitlist. But you’re literally doing what you’re accusing people of doing. Criticizing people for posting irrelevant information by posting an irrelevant comment. You really provided precise waitlist information. If I get banned for this, it was fun folks. Good luck to you all!
  15. What outcome do you expect from this? That people would heed your condescending, holier-than-thou advice? This is just a collection of anxious people providing information or asking questions, maybe it’s not all factual, but if it eases the minds of some and if it turns out to be inaccurate, then so be it. I think everyone here has the intelligence to be cautious when it comes to the internet. Apparently you can discern the difference.
  16. Plus even if you had the letter saved, it cannot come from your email, OLSAS specifically says that. I suppose you could make up another, but I absolutely would not do that. If they'll give it to you once, they'll likely be happy to provide you with another.
