  1. Hi all, I am currently going through the 1L recruit in Alberta. I'm lucky enough to have a couple of interviews lined up but I am really struggling to find information about firms that may help inform my decision (if I were to receive an offer). Is there a resource beyond firms' websites that provides more objective information about firms, the difference between them, and what it's like to actually work for them. Thanks everyone.
  2. ultramegaguy5129 , thanks for the reply! Through school it will hopefully only be around 15-20 hours per week, though I have definitely considered not working at all. Working would be primarily to lessen the draw on my savings caused by rent, school, living, etc.
  3. I realize these things are naturally fluid, but would anyone be able to comment on the approximate weekly time commitment of volunteering at the SLA and the Pro Bono clinic? I would like to do both but I'm not sure how viable it is with both work and school.
  4. After I paid my deposit $500 was credited to my tuition on my student central page. It took a few days to go through.
  5. Late to the party but accepted as well. L2: 3.85 LSAT: 165 Congratulations to everyone accepted and best of luck to all still waiting to hear back.
  6. Just got the call. cGPA- 3.65/4, L2- 3.85/4, LSAT- 165 Congrats all.
  7. If you have any specific questions about UofC's campus I can try to answer them for you. Took my undergrad there.
  8. Got it as well! LSAT-165 / L2- 3.85(ish) Congrats all.
  9. I actually don't recall receiving one. I checked my inbox and did not see one either, though I may have deleted it accidently along with all the lsac/fee waiver spam.
  10. The school retrieves them using the LSAC number that you provided.
  11. My last reference was submitted around October 27th.
