    Accepted to Alberta 2018

Received an offer of admission today: L2: 3.5 (confirmed) LSAT: 160 (averaged) I have already accepted an offer from UVic, as I did not except to receive an offer from U of A...looks like I have to make a final decision before end of the month! Best of luck to those waiting.
  2. Status officially changed to "Waitlist" on April 10th. Though it looks like I am on the lower end with my stats so not getting my hopes up too much: cGPA (confirmed): 81.42, LSAT: 164, Index: ~ 90.97 UBC was my number one choice (mostly due to their business law concentration) but thankfully I have a backup! Good luck everyone

    Accepted to UVic 2018

I sent the deposit (via online banking) and an email to accept my position on Friday morning. No confirmation email yet, but I am assuming they send it once the deposit is received! This is mentioned in our admission letter
  4. I also called the admissions office to find out my status (I have an offer from UVic with deposit due next week) and they informed me that I have been waitlisted ...as I had expected based on my stats below cGPA (confirmed): 81.42 LSAT: 164 Index: ~ 90.97

    Accepted to UVic 2018

Accepted yesterday Still waiting to hear from other schools but will most likely be accepting the offer...Good luck to everyone still waiting! LSAT: 164 cGPA: ~3.7-3.8 (with drops) Index: ~911-922
  6. I got 86% by dividing 3.73 by 4.33 but you're right... it doesn't work like that. So I guess I am sitting at an 80.5%. Thanks for pointing that out. As for the missing grades, UVic only started providing an actual % grade as of Sept 2014. So for all letter grades before then, I took the lowest possible % and used that for the grade point. Thanks again -- it's nice to know where I am sitting GPA-wise so I have more motivation for the LSAT
  7. Before I came across this thread, I made my own spreadsheet to convert my GPA from UVic and I came up with a 3.73/4.33 (86%) However, I then used the GPA calculation tool (thanks for posting, by the way) and my average came out much lower... Can anyone have a quick look at my spreadsheet and see if I made an error in my personal calculation? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bNysveLY0JSwKr75tOBoC9jVcnmUSqG9AWyMlg4YlIE/edit?usp=sharing Thanks in advance!
