  1. Rejected on Tuesday. cGPA: 3.75 LSAT: 161
  2. Accepted but haven't recieved an email yet. cGPA: 3.75 LSAT: 161
  3. Accepted today via email! cGPA: 3.76 LSAT: 161 Strong LORs Haven't even heard from any other schools yet!
  4. cGPA: 3.75 (but possibly as low as 3.71 depending on this semester's marks). b2:3.8. LSAT:161 Strong LORs, both have PhD's in law. Looking to get into Oz and Western. Also applied to Queens, Ottawa and UofT just in case. Would appreciate any feedback!
  5. I have similar stats: cGPA 3.75 and L2:3.8 with a 161 LSAT. Also an honours undergrad degree, but in business. I will also be applying for 2017. Judging from the replies to my thread (at: http://lawstudents.ca/forums/topic/45231-admission-chances-cgpa-375-lsat-161-l2-38-osgoode-western-queens/)and the research I've done around the internet, I think we will both most likely get in. We just need half-decent personal statements to seal the deal. Best of luck! I have only seen one person on these forums who has been rejected from Oz with similar stats, and everyone in the thread was commenting on how unusual that instance was.
  6. Thanks! U of T is just a passing interest. Mostly concerned about getting into and choosing between Os and Western. That's good to hear! January seems like a relatively early acceptance, especially seeing as I assumed my stats were borderline? This is very encouraging, did you apply during last year's cycle? Having looked at the placement stats, I don't know how much stock I would place in them. I visited and worked with a bay street firm and their employees seemed to come from everywhere in Ontario, from Western to Windsor to Ottawa. I guess U of T has the advantage of being the closest in proximity to the downtown firms.
  7. cGPA: 3.75, LSAT: 161, L2: 3.8, B2: 3.8. Entering fourth year of undergrad. Will have solid LOR's from two law professors from my undergrad, both of whom have PhD's in law. One of them teaches at Osgoode in the summer. I do not have many strong EC's. I will be applying in the fall to Osgoode, Western, Queens, and maybe even U of T and Ottawa. I'm primarily concerned about my admission chances at Osgoode and Western. Most likely going to pursue corporate/commercial law. Just wrote the June 2016 lsat and got a 161. This was my first attempt. My PT average was around 165 and I was consistently scoring in the high 160s in the last two-three weeks leading up to the LSAT. I had a relatively bad RC section (-11 versus my -7 average). I know many will suggest a rewrite but I was wondering if I have a good chance of getting into Osgoode/Western with my application as it is right now. Any advice/thoughts on my chances would be appreciated. I guess there is always the option to apply in the Fall and if I do not get into the school I want, simply rewrite in in September 2017?
