  1. Great, thank you both for your help, it's much appreciated!
  2. Hi everyone, I'd be grateful to any current students for any advice/information you might have about work experience during the summers of law school. Assuming it takes 4 years to complete a degree (not sure if that is common or not...), how many of the 3 summers of law school should be devoted to legal-ish work to still have a chance at any type of job upon graduation? I ask because my part-time work will require 2 full summers of training, from May - August. Essentially what I'm getting at is: if I work in a non-legal field for the summers after first and second year and then move on to more legal-related work after third year, would I be shooting myself in the foot for the future? Thanks for your time!
  3. I was told 2500 applicants this year
  4. In today as well! 3.92 OLSAS GPA and 161 LSAT. I took the TEFaQ for French proficiency and got a C1 in oral and written comprehension, but otherwise no French since high school.
  5. In this morning as well! OLSAS cGPA: 3.93 LSAT: 161 Went into queue yesterday morning (December 2) Congrats everyone!
  6. I would go get a face-to-face confirmation that the letter was sent out...not sure if you're allowed to send the letter yourself because you're never supposed to be able to see it, even if it's sealed...or at least I think that's what the "confidential letter" says
  7. Thanks, I'm thinking more about courses/grades for the first term. Will keep this in mind.
  8. Hi everyone, I'm really confused about OLSAS and transcripts and would appreciate any help. I'm about to start fourth year, so if applications are due by November 1, do they only reflect my courses/grades from first to third year, i.e. first term of fourth year isn't looked at? I am just wondering about Ontario schools and also McGill. Thanks for any help you guys can give!
