  1. Doesn't make sense. You should have been accepted by now.
  2. For schools that look at your first degree only. your cGPA, L2 and B3 will be from your first degree. (not sure) and your second degree will be ignored.
  3. Does that mean you have 2 undergrad degrees? I think some schools will count your first degree only. (I could be wrong)

  5. http://business.financialpost.com/personal-finance/stop-using-your-tfsa-to-frequently-trade-stocks-the-cra-may-see-it-as-business-income Under the tax rules, if a TFSA carries on a business then it must pay income tax on its business income. This has been a focus of recent audit and reassessment activities where the Canada Revenue Agency has been targeting taxpayers who actively traded securities in their TFSA. The CRA said that “millions of additional taxes have been recovered as a result of audits of TFSAs,” and referred to a recently-released Income Tax Folio which indicates that “the determination as to whether a particular taxpayer carries on a particular business is a question of fact that can only be determined following a review of the taxpayer’s particular circumstances.”
  6. Thank you. Just trying to help in these stressful situations. I went through 2 cycles and I know. Apparently Ottawa has some issues with the admission dept.last year. They were late in many stages of the cycle. The last offer was given after school started. I am 100% sure that OP will get an offer from Ottawa with 3.67 and 161. However, the timing may be a bit tricky. Is your 161LSAT from Dec 2017? I suggest OP to contact Ottawa when offers from other school are about to expire (at least 10 working days) Good luck
  7. you will be in domewhere 100 percent Ottawa
  8. Remember the Dot com bubble? I have some reservations about weed stocks I could be totally wrong and miss out on the stock of this century my concerns are 1. legal vs illegal suppliers- existing illegal suppliers will have a price war to hang on to their existing customers. (Canada lost the price war to illegal cigarettes and have to cut the tax drastically) I think it will be a boom for illegal suppliers? The street price is competitive and tax free. http://budzu.com/prices/ca 2. availability- you can grow your own at home. how can you stop someone to grow for others. You need an army of Weed Cop to enforce the weed rule. 3. Prediction on increase in user may be offset by above two concerns. Just my thoughts I like to know if there are other good investment ideas
  9. waitlisted by Windsor is worst than getting rejected
  10. This is for Ontario only If you provisionally accept (NOT FIRM ACCEPT) all other Ontario schools are still open for you. If you firmly accepted an Ontario school, then your application to all other Ontario schools will be dropped.(it normally takes more than one day to update your "firm acceptance" and you may still get an offer from other schools. There is an ultimate deadline where all Ontario provisional acceptance becomes firm. You will be removed from all Ontario school's wait list. This date is different each year. (late June) However, non-Ontario schools are not affected even if you firmly accepted an Ontario school. You did not indicate whether you are talking about Ontario or non Ontario schools.
  11. Black box probably means unable to predict. Most of us predict admission based on your stats only. Oz has recently offered someone with 153 LSAT and 3.7 (access?) But that doesn't mean everyone with those stats will most likely be admitted.
  12. If you really want to eventually practice in BC then go to a law school in BC.
  13. You can get up to $10,000 bursaries each year from OZ if you can show financial need.
  14. I think you may consider starting a new thread for Civil
