  1. I personally don't find the RC Bible's explanation's of answers in the science passages very thorough. I'm curious about how others managed to master the science passages. They're the last bit of reading comprehension that I don't have a firm handle on.
  2. I'm compiling a list of schools to apply to. My goal is to work on Bay Street so I'd appreciate any insight you could offer. Thank you.
  3. Does U of A factor summer classes into your L2 or do they just use the regular school year? Thanks.
  4. I've got two of the power score bibles from 2004 and 2008. Is it safe to use them or do you recommend I get the latest editions? Thanks.
  5. I haven't been able to find any firm on the NALP in Toronto which pays more than Davies. Which particular firm were you referring to?
  6. Can you really refuse extra work though? I presume the fear of getting fired would be too much.
  7. Hello Everyone, I'm trying to find info on Bay Street salaries for 2nd to 5th year associates. At the moment, I can't find anything beyond articling and 1st year associate salaries. Any info you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  8. If firms published their bonuses then that would help the top paying firms attract the best students.
  9. NALP Canada is a useful resource for Bay Street Salaries, however, it fails to go into specifics where bonuses are concerned. Is anyone familiar with how bonuses are distributed, the amounts and which firms pay the highest bonuses? Thank you.
  10. Hello everyone, I'm looking into the possibility of going to law school in the UK after finishing my bachelors in Canada. The main attraction would be the cheaper cost of a UK law degree than a degree from U of T law (My Canadian 1st choice). I'm a British citizen so I would be able to pay domestic fees. If I were to apply for senior LLB status at Oxbridge or Queen Mary's, would I only need to submit my university transcript and not my high school transcript? I ask this since it is a bachelors program and the UCAS application has a section for high school attended. I'm not sure if this is relevant but I didn't attend high school in the UK. Thanks for your help.
  11. Hi guys, I studied for a year at a college before transferring to university. I know that U of T looks for the best 3 years on a transcript and so I'm planning to apply in my 4th year. Since U of T will have 3 years on my university transcript to work with, is it still necessary to send in my college transcript? I don't want to come across as hiding anything but I also don't want to do something if its not necessary. There is a transcript fee after all. Thanks.
  12. Hi Guys, I would like to know what would be considered a good internship for a current undergrad looking to apply to law school. Specifically what would look good on a resume. Thanks
  13. So how would a UBC student interested in NYC go about it since they don't OCI at UBC?
