Really having some trouble deciding before the deadline in a few days. Looking to practice Indigenous Law and/or Corporate Law. Any currents students want to sell me on their school? Got scholarships to both, UofA’s offer is larger though.     I do want to practice in AB after my degree. But I guess a part of me wanted to try a different city for a change. Now I’m wondering if that’s really a good enough reason to study out of province. Thanks everyone.

Wasting another year to go from a 3.46 to a 3.5 is definitely not worth it. As it stands, 3.46 and 168 is fairly competitive for Osgoode. If you only studied for 2 weeks and achieved a 168, you're basically a genius and should definitely aim for a 170+, which would give you overwhelmingly good chances at Oz.

I am struggling with my mental health at my current job and I am having difficulty getting work done. I am a sixth year call and in litigation. I have an offer for a new job but I do not feel that I am in the best state to start a new job. The offer also does not provide me with any time off between my old job and starting the new job. I am considering quitting my job and taking some time off to recover but I am worried about finding another job.  Has anyone quit their job without a job lined up? How long did you take off? How did you leave your job without leaving a bad impression for quitting for your mental health? How long did it take for you to find a new job? How did you explain this gap to new potential employers? Any advice would be helpful.
