I sent a PM but I currently attend TRU and am applying to transfer to USask for 2L. I attended USask for my undergrad and live in Saskatoon. TRU's faculty is incredible but TRU as a whole and Kamloops are lacking significantly. And agreed, the airport is a pain in the ass and very expensive. House is astronomical.

100% USask if you want my honest opinion.   When I was looking into possibly moving to Kamloops, housing was sparse and expensive compared to Sask. Moreover, travelling to visit family (for me, in Edmonton) seemed difficult - you had to leave from their tiny airport, that flies into Calgary or Vancouver only. If you want one more factor into not choosing TRU, look at the cost of their tuition versus Saskatchewan. The price of TRU's tuition every year made my hair stand. It's insane.  I had a friend who attended USask for her 1L who absolutely loved it - she transferred into UofA for her last two years to be with family - but always raves at how engaging the curriculum was at Sask compared to even UofA. Hope this helps 🙂

Consider the fact that Dal is a really good law school with a lot of alumni across the country. Halifax will also be a more interesting place to live for the years. Yes, costs is a factor in law school, but I do think the benefits of Dal do justify the greater cost.

Given that money is not a great concern, you want to live in a place that is happening, and you want a reputable school. It seems to me UOttawa would be the best choice. Ottawa is far more happening than either Kamloops or anywhere in New Brunswick.  Ottawa has alumni all over the federal government, the local law firm scene, and also sends a respectable amount of people to Toronto big law.  I would only course Kamloops if you were dead set on practicing in BC. Even then, the tuition is quite high and it's okay to go to BC from Ottawa. UNB? I don't really know of a good reason to go to UNB.
