And so it begins! For everyone waiting, don't stress yourself out. This is still very early in the process. Admissions will continue for months.

Congratulations to the first few!

A simple request, please. If you're accepted, please post your stats and in what category you applied. I don't know why some are interested in whether you are an out of province applicant. That doesn't matter in Ontario admissions. Good luck to those who have heard and wishing patience to those who haven't. Keep in mind that some people won't receive a decision until July or August. That's a lot of months to be stressing about not having heard anything.

Lastly, please keep the discussion to a minimum in the Admitted threads. If you have specific questions of someone, please use the PM function. Thank you!

Are you guys general or access?

Looks like your theory is holding up here as well. Cant be a coincidence that both accepted are out of province. Wondering if the transcript theory is now applying to acceptances...

I think my theory does also apply to those who have been accepted. Those accepted to Ottawa thus far have both been out of province, and, as we know from the other thread, are the same ones who already have an official GPA (since those within province do not have official GPAs yet). There is definitely a correlation here.

If true, what do you think the implications are moving forward? The other thread mentioned OLSAS GPA's coming out in January...

I got in with 3.6/170 uoft undergrad!

Congratulations! You've got some incredible stats. Out of curiosity, did OLSAS indicate that your transcript was reviewed (this can be seen in the "Academic Background" section of your OLSAS account) before you got accepted?

I am not. I did my undergrad at St. Thomas University in New Brunswick.

Just got the email now!

OLSAS gpa: 4.0 (though I think they calculated my grad work into this as well)

LSAT: 168

Applied at deadline. Out of province, general, for anyone theorizing about admission category order.
