This is just for fun, so take it with a grain of salt. Although there is something to be said about the relative strength of your colleagues while attending law school, my personal opinion is that there are more important factors to consider than "rankings" per se. For example, where you plan to live and work when you're done law school, the schools' relative strengths in areas that interest you, and the quality of the schools' legal clinics/exchange programs/dual degrees are all more important than Canadian "rankings". Also, note that this is only a comparison of average LSAT/GPA scores and doesn't take into consideration any of the qualitative criteria that schools look at, which are also important.

Source for most of the Scores: LSAC website: http://www.lsac.org/...ian/default.asp

Common Law schools:
Rank School / LSAT /GPA /Macleans Rank /Note
1. U of T /168 /85.9 /1
2. UBC /166 /84 /3
3. UVic /163 /3.91 /7
4. McGill /163 /85 /4
5. Osgoode /162 /4.03 /2 (on a 4.33 Scale)
6.* UWO /162 /83 /9
6.* Queens /162 /83 /4
8. U of M /162 /3.9 /13 (on a 4.5 Scale)
9. U of A /161 /3.7 /8
10 U of C /160 /3.57 /11
11 UNB /159 /3.8 /14
12 U of S /159 /79 /10

Dalhousie /N/A /6
Ottawa /N/A /11
Windsor /N/A /15
Moncton /N/A /16
TRU /N/A /N/A

Note: I was not able to find average scores for any of the schools that have N/A, so I didn't include them in the rankings. I didn't want to use any unreliable sources. Feel free to find and adjust as you see fit. Again, this is just for fun, so take it with a grain of salt.

The only ranking in Canada that makes sense is:

1. UofT
2. The rest

Should the marks of the incoming class really matter considering all your classmates will still be overachievers?

I really don't know what an overachiever is in the context of law school.
