Has anyone else applied to the Lord Beaverbrook scholarship? Has anyone heard back? I can see online that they received all my reference letters, so they should have my other paperwork as well, and I am kind of wondering if its a case of them having done all the contacting they are going to do already. Basically I want to know if I should bother being anxious anymore!

I applied for it! However, I think I remember hearing something along the lines of "they will be contacting those they wish to interview by mid-january". Sooo, i think it's probably safe to say i didn't make the cut... haha

scratch that, I just received an email saying i've been selected for an interview!!

(Not sure how to reply directly to your post - I am relatively new in these forums lol)

When did you have all of your information in by? Were you an early bird? My stuff arrived (as far as I can see online) just before the deadline, so I am holing out hope that they haven't got to me yet!

Wow, congratulations, laurgirl! That's really exciting! I wonder how many people they interview, and when they'll notify for the other scholarships...

Also, when is your interview, if you don't mind me asking?

Sabrina: I had my last two letters of reccomendation in by about mid to late January.

Mauryah: They are interviewing 7 this year (and 3 scholarships to give). And my interview is Feb 17th

Oh and also, my guess would be that they will notify for the other scholarships as soon as they pick the recipients of the Beaverbrook (which is the monday after, so Feb 20)
