Anyone else having trouble contacting admissions at TRU in the past week or so? I assume they are busy processing applications and what not as they near the Feb 1st deadline but I have not been able to get replies to emails/voicemails and such.

I talked to Cindy this morning and got an email from Sharon as well. They are pretty busy as the deadline approaches though.

Interesting....
They must be conspiring against my application.

Hahaha. I highly doubt it. Other than Ubc and dal I've found their staff to be really easy to deal with. Trying calling early morning.

I normally get a quick reply back via email. I haven't tried phoning them in a while though.

Sometimes it took them about a week to respond to my emails.

No returned emails. No confirmation of 2012 application. How does one get any answers without becoming an irritating nag ... which could be counter-productive...

Your best bet is to contact Anne Pappas directly on her cell phone # listed on the website. Don't bother with leaving messages at this point - try to get someone on the line.

Have they cashed your cheque? If so, I would probably wait another week or so since there seems to be a bit of a backlog. If not, then definitely get a hold of someone there.

Applicants:
Many applicants go through what you are experiencing right now. The uncertaintly of the application process can be very frustrating. No amount of me saying "keep calm and carry on" will ease your minds. That being said, please consider this: the office staff is busy, as is the assistant Dean. Unless there is a legitimate concern over your application, there is nothing to be gained from contacting the administration. Any signs of movement of the admission front - which is ultimately what you all care about - will show up here almost immediately in a thread. Alternatively, I've been told that twitter is a resource for information. Perhaps consider monitoring @TRUlaw or @TRUlaw_SLS.

I hope this helps. And, please, keep calm and carry on!
