Well, the appeal of the law of the sea is that, once you've reached international waters, you can commence with the monkey-knife-fights!

Also, i will ready if you want to help me. I can do my best for you. At the same time, i can improve my english thanks to this forum but now i am sorry my grammar. It will be better. Thanks :)

Well, I think you need to find which laws govern international waters and shipping. You will need to specialise in that law. Most shipping insurance is done through British insurance companies, specifically Lloyd's LLP.

I would not worry about learning German. Most Germans speak English.

@CanGokalp: Our community's expertise is limited in this area. The vast majority of us are Canadians in or hoping to attend Canadian law school; a small minority are Canadians considering studying law in the US, UK, or Australia.

If you are thinking of going to law school in Canada you need (more or less)
- An undergraduate degree (or at least 3 years of undegrad experience) with at least a B+ average (though most successful applicants have higher marks)
- A high score on the Law School Admission Test LSAT (typically above 160)
- Demonstrated fluency in either English or French (depending on what school you apply to)
