If you are thinking about becoming a member of our glorious little section of the interweb, please consider your user name carefully. It is not our general practice to allow name changes once a user has registered. We are considering what our policy will be going forward.

This means that you should consider things like how anonymous you intend to be here and street cred'.

If you are unhappy with your name, I'm afraid you're stuck with it for a bit to forever. We are currently working out a policy for name changes.

"Why?" you might find yourself asking. Well how about a friendly list:

1. people develop reputations (good or bad) that they have generally earned and they should keep them; and
2. it's a pain.

"Well," you might huff indignantly, "I'll just set up a new profile and use that!" You shouldn't do that. Why? How about another friendly list:

1. people develop reputations (good or bad) that they have generally earned and they should keep them;
2. setting up another profile is a thin attempt to circumvent 1;
3. we have a semi-psychic moderator on board that can figure out just by reading your posts who you are (seriously, it's a bit unnerving); and
4. we will find out, hunt all of your alteregos down, and internet punish you.

lol damn...I expected to post maybe a dozen times around September when I registered this account, and literally picked the first thing I could think of...which happened to be my favorite madden check down outlet and perennial fantasy football disappointment.

Now that I've grown to kinda like this place I'm stuck with an alias that makes me look like I'm a little kid dressing up as my favorite superhero for halloween....never expected to make this sort of personal commitment to Antonio Gates...he's probably not even my favorite active football player lol
