I received an informal email from UBC on friday and got the formal conditional offer today. The condition is on the completion of the PLNSP program, which I'm still awaiting on my apolication status on right now...

Congrats ASAP!

Bit of a dilemma here. I didn't realize that you should apply to PLSNP before hearing back from law school. However, having just spoken with them, I was told that applications should be in around the same time that you apply to law school.

Now, I haven't applied to the program and it starts May 22nd. In order to apply you need to send in transcripts, your LSAT mark, and THREE references. I'm hestitant now about having to send all this in, without even hearing from any of the four schools I've applied to. Mostly, I don't want to bother people for references again...which I feel that I've done already too much this year. I could very well be doing all this and not get in.

I guess this is less of a dilemma and more of just me complaining, haha. However, figured I'd just throw it out there, in case anyone else stupidly overlooked the PLSNP application process like I did.

I only applied a few weeks ago myself. I still need to send transcripts. From what I understand people apply all the way into May because some people don't get offers until then. I think I read that somewhere on the site. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I'm still sending in my documents, and still have to contact one more person for a reference letter. I hope to have everything in by the end of the month.

Last year, UVIC just talked to PLSNP on my behalf and I didn't need to send any documents, I would just try that. The fact is the PLSNP is not really about rejections really if you want to go and are in(condistional or otherwise) at a Law schoo your golden

Hey everyone, good news here! I received a conditional acceptance from Windsor today. Looks like I'll be attending the PLSNP program. Anyone else?

I'm going too. Where is everybody staying? The new college quarters look nice but a bit pricey. Also, when is everybody going to head out there?

Still awaiting confirmation but I've applied to the new College Quarters.

@Jabubs: Is Residences services closed the whole weekend or just the 21st because of the holiday?

The residence office is closed on weekends and holidays. I will only have a window of a half hour in the morning on the 22nd and a half hour in the afternoon to meet someone to be able to check in and get keys.

Hey everybody! I've been following this thread for a while and I will be applying to law school this fall. I'm aboriginal just finished my third year university taking commerce - have a 3.61 culmulative GPA. (3rd year my GPA was a 3.63 - 4th year can probably bring it up). Will be writing the LSAT this June and was wondering what score I should be aiming for... interested in applying to York, UBC, Queens, Western, (possibly another law school out west - but I prefer staying in Ontario) .... and throwing a hail mary pass to Toronto. I've been studying and taking a course right now for the passed three weeks and just want to know what I should be aiming for. Also any tips on how you all studied?

Thanks
Jeremy
ps - thank you so much all of you for participating on this thread. Super helpful

if you can hit the mid 150's and have a interesting background you'll have a good shot at any Law School, being a Aboringal Canadate I wouldn't call Toronto a 'hail mary' basied upon the number shared on this board I would say if you have a good LSAT you will have a great chance at UofT
