  1. PSLOC: what bank did you go through?

Scotia definitely has the best offers, and they are wiling to negotiate on most of their terms. My regular banking is through RBC. I have a mortgage with them, but I was not impressed at their offerings. The representative I met with at RBC was not willing to negotiate terms.
  2. Dean's open house

I would agree with the posts above as well! A great event whether you are someone who has made up your mind, or if you are still weighing options. The mixer definitely felt initially overwhelming, as I am not necessarily used to these types of events. That being said, all of the current students were absolutely lovely and helped create such a welcome atmosphere. They went out of their way to initiate conversation with me when they saw the uncertainty. They also gave a lot of good advice on how to get connected with others and make the most of the law school experience. I am really happy I went, and I look forward to getting more comfortable at networking!
  3. Dean's open house

See you all there! I am excited to get to see some faces in the program. I met with a student ambassador a while back, and she said it was a good event to practice for later networking events. Other than that, it seems that the schedule indicates it is a chance to tour the building, hear some info about the program, and meet some of the faculty.

More Perfect description: “Supreme Court decisions shape everything from marriage and money to public safety and sex. We know these are very important decisions we should all pay attention to – but they often feel untouchable and even unknowable. Radiolab's first ever spin-off series, More Perfect, connects you to the decisions made inside the court's hallowed halls, and explains what those rulings mean for "we the people" who exist far from the bench. More Perfect bypasses the wonkiness and tells stories behind some of the court's biggest rulings.”
