  1. Chances? OLSAS GPA 3.62, Highest LSAT 166

Woah! you went from a 149 to 166 in a few months? That's crazy impressive. You're right at median for gpa and well above median for lsat, so your chances seem quite good.
  2. Accepted 2018

Awesome thanks! Just accepted my offer today actually haha
  3. Accepted 2018

Hey guys, did anyone make a class of 2021 facebook group yet or know about it? I tried searching for it, but couldn't find it.
  4. Lol have you guys even looked at the accepted thread this year? People got in with a lower CGPA than O.P with 156, 154, 152. At least a dozen in that thread with lower stats than you. They're very holistic this year. So, it's somewhat of a lottery, just have to wait and see what happens.
  5. Chances this cycle? 3.38/3.65/164

I saw some one in the accepted thread get in with a lower cgpa than you and a 158 lsat. In fact, I'd say quite a few have been admitted with lower stats than you. Osgoode seems to be very holistic this year, so none of us can really give you an indication of your chances. Only time will tell!
  6. For those of you that have been accepted this cycle and are currently in your final year of undergrad, were your offers conditional? Like did you have to maintain a certain cgpa or obtain a certain gpa in your final year? Thanks!
  7. Ottawa vs Windsor

Thanks a lot for the feedback! You mentioned undergrad: do companies that are hiring you for summer positions or articling look at your undergrad marks/ require undergrad transcripts?
  8. Ottawa vs Windsor

I've read through some threads that discuss the 2 schools. I was hoping you could shed some light on the following assertions that I've read: 1) Ottawa is an absolute administrative disaster recently (corrupt Dean, unprofessional faculty, cancelled exams) 2) If you are a Windsor student that wants to be hired in a big Toronto firm, your marks have to be in the top 10% of your class to even have a chance 3) Ottawa is considered a higher ranked law school than Windsor I know it's still early, but these are the only 2 schools I have been admitted to so far. I intend to work in Toronto after law school. Other than that, my main criteria is to find the school that has the cheapest rent close to campus. The nightlife of the city isn't a huge priority to me. I really just care about about where I can get a good education and best position myself to get a job in Toronto. Any advice based on this is appreciated!
  9. How good/weak are my ECs

sub·jec·tive səbˈjektiv/ adjective adjective: subjective 1. based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. "his views are highly subjective"
  10. Accepted to Ottawa 2018

Honestly so subjective for me to rate. They certainly aren't extensive, but I think they're pretty decent. And I think the PS was pretty well written imo. I wrote the LSAT in September.
  11. Accepted to Ottawa 2018

My first name start with A. No middle name. Blood Type- O Negative
  12. Accepted to Ottawa 2018

In. 3.69 CGPA, 158 LSAT. Last name starts with P. Currently in my 3rd year and will be graduating in April.
  13. Accepted 2018

Just got the email as well (fyi, it went to my spam folder for those waiting). 3.69 CGPA, 158 LSAT. Last name starts with P. Currently in my 3rd year and will be graduating in April.
  14. Chances on Admission?

It depends. What is your cgpa?
  15. Anybody have any predictions on when first round of acceptances will be sent out for Windsor, Queens, and Ottawa? I know you guys can likely only speculate (unless you have a plug in ad com lol) but the suspense is killing me.
