  1. Thanks for the insight superwoman1994! If you don't mind me asking, have they gotten back to you with a response after the interview? I'm just wondering if going in person will help my chances.
  2. Just received an email to interview in person or over the phone. Any suggestions preparing for the interview? I've seen the common questions, such as: Why you want to go to law school at Schulich School of Law? What's a book your currently reading? What type of law are you heading towards? (Questions Specific to your personal statement) Any suggestions on other questions or any preparation strategies?
  3. I had a 3.58 CGPA from OLSAS, don't know how their scale differs and a 156 on the LSAT.
  4. Just received an email to interview for Schulich School of Law in person or over the phone (I'll do phone, live in Ontario). Any suggestions preparing for the interview? 5. Accepted today Morning!!! (Suprisingly I got rejected from the JD Category) Still waiting on Osgoode, Queens and Western before I accept. 156, CGPA: 3.58. Strong ECs and personal statement favouring the Dual JD.
  6. Does anyone have any experience getting jobs into Toronto firms from TRU? After 2L or graduation? I live in the Toronto area and have heard that preference is given to law schools in the same province as the law firm. I know the well-known firms come to TRU, but I'm assuming they're making offers for the B.C area (correct me if I'm wrong). Any insight is helpful.
  7. May 11 is the deadline to pay the deposit
  8. Thank you! It was out of 4 on the OLSAS GPA scale, I don't know it on the TRU scale or if it's different
  9. Just got accepted a few minutes ago! First acceptance but still haven't heard back from other schools, I'm just happy to get a seat from somewhere. cGPA: 3.52 ; Highest LSAT: 156. Worked two part-time jobs in IT, President for a Moot Law Club and executive on many others. Some volunteering.
