  1. Is it still common to search people on Facebook, or has that practice died off?
  2. A friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with arthritis, and it got me thinking: what first impression would this person give off if they were in law, not being able to have a firm handshake? Or worse, what would they do in the event that they couldn't give a handshake without it being very painful? My first thought would be to have some kind of an arm/wrist brace, so that no explanation would really be necessary. Thoughts?
  3. I think they've changed how first year registration works this year. Instead of using a paper form, we are supposed to register online through Rabaska. We select our class schedule based on small group class sections. Each small group class section has a predetermined schedule that fits, and the choice of thematic course is up to you. http://www.commonlaw.uottawa.ca/en/academics-affairs/policies-and-procedures/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=11406&Itemid=111 Registration for first years starts July 9th at 10:00am
  4. I contacted UOttawa, and they assured me that I was admitted but did not explain anything else. They told me to call back at a later date if there has been no change.
  5. I’ve been accepted to Ottawa’s common law program for this upcoming year on June 1st, and firm confirmed the offer on the same day. After waiting about a week, I called OLSAS since they hadn’t processed anything yet. They told me that they couldn’t process my request because they haven’t received any information about my acceptance from the university. I’m not quite sure what the next step is, but I’m concerned because the acceptance deadline is approaching. I tried looking at other forums to see if anyone else has had this problem before, but couldn’t find anything similar. What should I be doing at this point? Thanks
